Encona Original Hot Pepper/Chilli BBQ Sauce 285ml - 49p @ B&M

jilawrencejilawrence

Currently half price in Asda and Tesco (£1.99 down to £1) but spotted in B&M at Hemel Hempstead yesterday for just 49p!

The ones I bought were all BBE Feb 2013 so plenty of date left to run, and they had both the Original Hot Pepper Sauce and also a Chilli BBQ Sauce available.

Great for adding a kick to chilli con carne or an omelette!

I simple cannot live without this sauce, i use it nearly everyday!...

Mix this with some ghee (On offer in Tesco, 500g for £2.50 until the 20th) and a bit of vinegar or water and you've got a fantastic approximation of real bufallo wing sauce. Using ghee over normal butter is what makes it.

The best chilli sauce out, not too hot and so much flavour!

Is it just me or is it not as spicy out of the squeezy bottle as it is out of the glass bottle?

Possibly the best chilli sauce in the known universe. After 20 years of consumption it still tastes as good as it did on day one :-)

I would also recommend Lingham's chilli saue, for a sweet / dipping chilli, and Maggi chilli & garlic for adding some serious flavour ( I use like ketchup :) )

Seconded - Lingham's is the best I've tasted and I now have a mild addiction to it! Particularly like their garlic chilli sauce.
