The best chilli sauce out there.
Whenever I go to my indian or carribean friends' houses and have a meal - they're always bringing out this stuff.

Made from Scotch bonnet peppers : Not for wimps.

Hot hot hot!
(as said previously take that very litterally)

I discovered this stuff years ago in London (I love the taste but my digestive system has yet to forgive me!) after a radio interview on LBC with the (IIRC) couple of young women who started the company.....a really nice story, a genuine 'kitchen table to thriving business' tale.
I always liked supporting them because of that.

Anyways, this makes tabasco seem like a mild dressing!
I find it's best if you measure it out in drops (which is difficult in the new squeezy bottle!).
Seriously, be careful if you are not used to carribean hot flavourings.

Lots of others now jumping on the bandwagon but Encona was the original and, for what it's worth, IMO the best.

I love this stuff too. Is it my imagination or is it slightly less hot than when it first came out?

When it comes to chilli, you do tend to become immune to its effects, so you tend to crave even hotter types. Imo the hotter the better. When I could find it I used to get extra hot doritos dip and put a big splash of habenero tabasco sauce in it, yummy. I found some sauce called Dragon's Blood at a local food festival wow it is so hot. I have never had the pleasure of after effects in the downstairs department LOL, so no need for chilled toilet roll for me, ROFL.

I love this stuff, second only to Cholula (which is much milder).

Heat added.

Encona is a very good chilli sauce, the original in this line of sauces.
IF you have the guts to go for something "hotter" try the EAST END (i get it free by the case load as a friend works for the company ) version which comes in a bottle of the same shape, that stuff is seriously hot, my OH will eat it but i stick to the encona (i'm a wimp)

99p store is doing this now with 50% extra free. Also at Farmfoods, if there is one near you, is doing the larger plastic squeezy bottle for £1.
