Some of you might remember my desperate thread in the misc section a few weeks ago when I couldn't find any of my beloved hot pepper sauce for love nor money. Well good news Mrs Taksim has finally tracked some down in Home Bargains and not only is it (as usual) cheaper than the supermarkets but the bottles come with 50% extra free aswell.

Bottles are 220ml for the price of 142ml.

Tesco = £1.12 for 220ml bottle
Asda = £1.11 for 220ml bottle

Depending on how hot you like it really - A good start would be this:

http://www.southdevonchillifarm.co.uk/shop/index.php?target=products&product_id=27

or if you like it really hot then go for this:

http://www.southdevonchillifarm.co.uk/shop/index.php?target=products&product_id=147

I normally make my own sauce but both of these are excellent :thumbsup:

The problem with these types of sauces (and there are plenty) is that they use extract (refined capsaicin) to increase the heat. I prefer the real deal that only use the fruits themselves and natural ingredients :thumbsup:

how large do u want the picture lol

I like Encona Pepper Sauce. It's brilliant. But, this is even more brilliant if you can find it. Busha Browne's pukka hot sauce (and it's nothing to do with Jamie Oliver. Pukka!).

Boo-hoo!
I really got excited about this deal,coz it costs a lot more in supermarkets nearby,BUT,the nearest Home Bargains is 39 miles away ! !
Boo-hoo again.
Anyone willing to buy 3 bots for me,wrap, pack & post them for the £2:07 that they cost from HB?:gift:
Thanx

Tasty sauce but not even that hot, I'd say its the hottest you would find in supermarkets like tescos or asda's but its not th hottest sauce in the asian indian market.... You want to eat something proper hot go to south hall get bunch of proper hot chillis ( Bhut Jolokia pepper ) They import a lot of stuff over in coventry indian markets etc... Just make your own... This sauce is like water to me :thumbsup: But tastey:p
