Mine has been agreed at £15.50. so have raised it further and awaiting the response now. Good on those who got the higher amount!

Same here - "confirmed" at £15.50 but only after it dropped to £51.50 and then to £50.

It'll be interesting to see if they actually honor the original amount.

Also paid pit 52.50 yesterday so well happy. not bad for a £14 outlay
Paid out £50.50 today so I'm happy enough.
Now its came back on at £52.50. Its like a cashback yoyo. Just have to wait and see if it pays out. Still got cheap insuarnce for wifes stuff that i needed anyway.

500+ on a phone... too cheap (or poor!) to buy a decent screen protector...

£500+ on a phone does not warrant the need to spend big on a screen protector...

These are crap, they distort light horrendously and reduce screen sensitivity,
spend 10£ on a tempered glass screen protector not this plastic rubbish

I don't doubt that but it's crazy for anyone to spent extortionate amounts on this type of thing.
I completely disagree, would you rather spend £10 on a screen protector that cracks instead of your screen, or £100+ on a replacement screen?

I fix phone screens on the side, I have no problem with that.
Regardless, I use protectors for scratches & a leather flip wallet for protection. Touch wood, I've never broken a screen of my own with this setup.

P.S enjoy your suspension.
thank you, it was nice to get a break

why would you buy a beautiful 7mm aluminium unibody iPhone 6, and stick a leather case on it, thereby doubling the thickness and losing the cold aluminium feel every morning?

The way forward is a metal bumper case to protect the back+edges from scratches, combined with a tempered glass screen protector to prevent the screen from cracking when you drop it.

Perfect balance between style and protection

The thickness doesn't concern me, large hands compensate the thickness with cases.

it isn't just about you though, one of the reasons the iPhone 6 is so popular is due to how slim it is.

For the majority of people on this thread, they would not put a thick leather folio case on their phone and therefore your opinion is irrelevant.

For those of use who are going 'naked' with their iPhones, get a decent screen protector

Thick leather? 1mm each side is hardly worth complaining about & I never speak for anyone but myself.

a leather case will add at least 50% thickness to the phone

Last time I checked 2mm was not half of 7mm...

fine me a leather case for the iPhone 6 that is 9mm thick and I will buy you an iPhone 6.

besides, 9mm is considered fairly 'chunky' for a smartphone these days

this is a picture of an iPhone 6 leather case, specs say it's 11.2mm thick (which is actually adding 60% of the iPhone's thickness)
http://www.mobilemadhouse.co.uk/content/images/thumbs/0033651_yousave-iphone-6-leather-effect-flip-case-with-slots-black.jpeg

Originally you said it doubled the thickness, so for your example the iphone is 5.6mm thick?

this is a 'slim leather case', a proper folio leather case is easily 14mm

back to the point, why buy an aluminium super slim phone which differentiates itself from its competitors due to it's 'in hand feel' to stick a chunky leather case on it?!

get a galaxy note if you want the leather lol

That's the slim leather flip cases I use for mine & a galaxy note doesn't have iOS.

That link works. Got mine yesterday. Thanks OP

I have just purchased one of these for myself using this link. Got the card for £9.99 but am sure that for my two eldest I paid £15.00 each sorting their cards out with their college.

Here is a solution for Endsleigh revewals not being delivered to your home address but unforch this will cost another £5 plus £1.50 delivery. After placing your renewal order for £12, wait a week for it to not show up. What you then do is order a replacement card here https://cards.nusextra.co.uk and on the "order summary" page just before payment it will allow you to select "Home Delivery" instead of the Endsleigh Office.
This wouldn't have worked for me as they had already cancelled my order and refunded me. In the end i followed the advice in another thread that said choose open university and leave the course section blank. I paid for a 3 year card which worked out to be about £36. Card arrived this morning at my address. Didnt even need to load another pic it just used the same one
Did they automatically cancel your order or did you chase them up about the whereabouts of your card?
I chased them up
Can someone please help me, I renewed my NUS card this way and it said it was being sent to Endsleigh House. I sent 3 emails immediately after to NUS, even the finance email on the PayPal payment. I have heard nothing back. The payment has now been taken and 9 days have gone by. Can someone help me with who to contact or how to get refunded / or the card sent to my home.
I just emailed them asking them to post to my address, 48 hrs later I received a refund. I then signed up for 3 years NUS but for open university which got sent to my address.

Thanks. Can you tell me what email you used? I've emailed [email protected] twice, [email protected] twice and also submitted on the online form twice. Included all details and heard nothing now for 10 days.

I had similar problem with no response to emails so I simply requested paypal to refund me for non-delivery of goods and was refunded by paypal about a week later. I was going to pay the £6.50 for redelivery to my new home but weirdly my card info had been deleted so couldn't go down that route.
I've just renewed again - £13.50 this time as had to pay £1.50 for postage to home... All looked the same as usual from previous years though?
