Nice cheap glasses that get good reviews.

Can be had a little cheaper at Tredz:

£14.24

and cheaper again at Biketarts, though I haven't heard of them before:

£13.95

Not spoiling but I bought a pair of Polarised sunglasses identical to these in design, but with a dark tinted lens for just £3.50. Cold from me.

Are they a recognised brand, from a respectable retailer, delivered and do they comply to British UV protection standards? i.e. EN 166 /172.

If not they can actually be much worse for your eyes than not wearing sunglasses at all.

(Just waiting for someone to say they got some from a poundshop...)

If you're gonna comment with something like this, it would be nice if you can link where you got it from otherwise people will think you're just telling porkies ;p

The Bolle specs are safety Glasses , they are good I have had a few sets still using a pair for work , got them from Ebay very cheap , they are well worth the money , but Im going to have to say they are not in the same league as the Endura ..

The Endura fit really close to the face and have little if no room for bugs and fly dirt etc , where as my Bolle safety specs do let the occasional bits get through , but I have had my last pair for over 4 years so they do last well , I also use a Bolle pair for work when im working on the grinder and they do the job ..

I would buy the Endura over the Bolle everyday of the week for my bike , for general use I would go with the cheapest option

Do the Bolle glasses look a bit conspicuous on if you are on a bike or are they ok? I'm like to get laughed at enough for my (lack of) speed, I dont need to fuel the fire by looking like a wally??? Thanks for your advice and good post.

cheers

You wouldn't look like a Wally with either , the Bolle specs don't look like safety specs , its just the Endura where made for the job better IMO
#14
cheers dude, might give the Bolle a go and then upgrade to the Endura if i cycle more (sit on the Bolle's which is of course inevitable) :)
