These are rechargeables, but not just any old rechargeables. Very good price for them.
#2
This are the new NiHM rechargables that don't lose power when not in use. They are also sold charged ready to use.
Also sold under different brands as Hybrio or CycleEnergy. Charge them on normal NiMH chargers.

Quite happy with mine, great on the wii remote, looking better that regular NiMHs (even those of higher rated energy).

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eneloop

Great price for these batteries. Heat & rep added.

Excellent price for excellent batteries. I paid £10 for a 4 pack not long ago.

Thanks.

Had some of these for a while now but ordered an 8 pack (and 4 AAAs) as soon as I saw them at this price. I think they beat other rechargeables hands down.

That's a 4 pack. It's only £10.21 for the 8 pack!

Excellent deal on superb product.

If you're wondering what's so good about them you can read a little bit about them on this thread

These were £19.99 last week. Well spotted!!!

Too bad I bought 8 Vapex instant instead. Hope they're good!! Paid same price as here.

Whats the difference between these batteries and the Uniross Hybrio?
8 Hybrios are only £6.68
#11
Great batteries, had them before, ordered 16 AA and 4 AAAs.

Voted hot.

Thanks

HI,
I am looking to buy at the moment, I agree they are the new technology, & a good price, but they are only 2000mah...the "old" rechargables which I have are 2700mah...so they are not as powerful.....
#13
Good deal but what about these hybrio ones?:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Uniross-Hybrio-AA-2100mAh-Batteries/dp/B000KG5G5I/

£3.30 for 4 2100mAH and like the eneloop one's, they hold charge when not used and come charged.

sometimes it's the 3rd party stores which sell those on amazon and the delivery charges are absurd - if it's amazon that selling them for £6.68 then that's a great deal
#15
Thanks, ordered a few packs :)

Very good find ordered and left heat and rep

Well spotted, thought it was Amazon selling them:oops:

Best batteries I have ever bought, I have ordered the AA & the AAA's, funny I checked yesterday and they were not this cheap, I am going to replace all my rechargeables and just keep to these in future.
#19
Is it the case that you need a special charger for these batteries?
#20
Great spot, only only just paid £10 for 4 AA a few months back.. I use them in my digi camera, I have gone through a number of re-chargable brands and so far, these win hands down. The last batch I bought were Jessops 2,500 mah batteries for around £7, so on paper should last longer than the eneloop 2,000 mah batteries (this deal)... however, after a few months of use, the Jessops batteries were loosing their full charge within a few days ! These batteries can happily sit in my camera for months (they will keep their charge for over a year).
Recommend these batteries to anyone at full price, this deal makes them a steal...
TIP: when charging don't use one of those 2hr fast chargers... these batteries won't fully charge, use a slower overnight charger and they will last months....

Thanks for the Heads up..

What with Photography, A Wii, An Xbox and a 3yr old I seem to be going through batteries at a fair old rate.

Seems to be expensive p&p if you don't go with Super saver though. I ordered the AA's and AAA's. AAA's are on a 1-4 week expected delivery, and if I don't group the order it's £20+ delivery.
#22
Will these charge in a VERY FAST charger (charges AA in 15mins). The one I have is:

http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_3&products_id=101343

BTW, I highly recommend this charger as it does charge 4 AA batteries in 15 minutes – I use it all the time.
#23
This is not that good a deal 7day shop have higher output batteries for less money see range at

Not quite. "Dispatched from and sold by K.K. Electronics." Amazon marketplace seller so you can't combine postage and no free super saver delivery.

Where are you guys finding cheap eneloop chargers? They seem to be a minimum of a tenner.
Would a charger like this be ok? (since someone said fast chargers would not work).

I think this looks like a good charger for about £6 delivered (takes about 2 weeks).
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.6194

I don't have one, but being able to charge single batteries at a time is very helpful.

PS. I have the Vapextech 'Instant' type, and very happy so far...

the 8 packs are sold out, but they have 4 packs for £6.63.

Are these the same ones as in the 8 packs?

Have just gone through to the final checkout stage for this market place seller and the p&p is £4.50 for each 4 pack of batteries so 8 batteries is £6.68 PLUS £9.00 delivery.

Rooney I had 1 pack of the 8 batteries at the 10 Pound offer. Then when i saw the deal went back: to 20 pounds. I added 2 quantities of the batteries that's a total of 16 batteries. Then I ordered them and got the two packs at the 10 pound each. Rooney do not delete from basket just add another pack or buy an item from amazon so that you get free delivery.
