Usually you will hear the kind people at argos asking you if you want the batteries with the item.
Get these ones instead...save money...and save all that hassle on Christmas Day looking for batteries :)

Noticed in Asda that these were £1 for 4 so that's £6 for 24 so 99p cheaper than this deal:whistling:

Poundland - eight Kodak alkaline batteries AA for - wait for it - a pound! So, 40 for a fiver, etc. And batteries are fine, last for ages in cameras, etc. Why pay more?

any AAA's - seems to be a lot of deals for AA's lately, not so much on AAA'a.

Been £4.99 for 24 at Robert Dyas ever since Alessandro Volta invented them!

rechargable, rechargable, rechargable

the hybrio / eneloop type batteries have made rechargables so much better, why keep putting these in the bin?

Why not let people buy what they want instead of preaching?

£4.99 in Costcutter from 08/12/2008

This is a great deal. Inspite trying to convert to rechargeable batteries and buying loads of the things, i've unfortunately found rechargeables to be unsuitable for all things such as remotes, etc, because they drain down a lot quicker and that's with the highest powered rechargeables.

For example, our Grohe wireless shower controller is battery powered. Rechargeables are lucky to last a few weeks in it, where as unchargeables last at least 6 months.

Probably worth picking up a pack of AAA's (8 pack plus 8 free) too for £5.99 :

I checked in ASDA before I picked these up and they weren't £1 for 4. They were buy 2 packs of 4 for £3 so £9 for the equivalent. :p

Heat and rep to the OP!

They're 4 for £1 in my local Asda - at least they were yesterday when in was in there... right next to the entrance...

Thanks OP! Just reserved a pack.

£6.84 now

Can't see any comments about the capacity of these batteries. Are they all the same?
