I was looking for rechargable batteries of 2000mAh and above but I couldn't find any decent deal in stores so I went for Argos's 4 energizer AA recharg. batteries 2000mAh for £9.99 KNOWING that there must be a better offer around... just a few minutes later I find a Currys, I enter and spot imediately a packet of 4 Energizer rechargable batteries 2450mAh for £9.99. It's the "ACCU" Nh-ME (nickel-metal hybrid) kind which until now has served me well.

In stores I couldn't find a better deal for the Energizer (I'm an Energizer affecionado), don't know online. Hope someone can benefit from this before spending £9.99 on 2000mAh ones in Argos like I did

Got 7dayshop branded ones last week, they seem OK and are cheaper - thought they were Nh-ME but just reading one, they aren't (they're Ni Mh)

So, a pointless post on my part - different product, different brand, but as I've bothered typing it, I'll leave it anyway :-)

LOL that's allright 'smokie'. 'Toastie' appreciates it anyway

Very good price, I wonder how many stores I will have to go in to find some!!:thumbsup:

In the store they had lots of them. I don't think the price is due to a discount of any sort. They had normal price stickers on them, so I guess in every other Currys they sell them at the same price.

Just got back from PCworld near me (Aintree). They have 4x Duracell rechargeable supreme 2650mah batteries for £2.97. They also have Duracell AA batteries with a 1hour charger for about £10 in fact most of their Duracell stuff seemed to be reduced. Shelves are being rearranged within the store so the prices may be specific to this store.

Branded = overpriced
Nothing at all special about these except the gratuitous over-advertising. Not even top of the Energizer range!

What on earth is ""ACCU" Nh-ME (nickel-metal hybrid)" supposed to be?
It's Nickel Metal Hydride = NiMH
The Energizer site might clarify, seeing they have never heard of them either! http://www.energizerrecharge.eu/

Standard Rechargeables like these are not as convenient as Low Self Discharge types, for virtually everyone one, and they can be got for four quid for 4x AAs or AAAs on threads on this site.

Aren't these just standard Ni-MH rechargeable batteries? I've never heard of Nh-ME.
Got to agree with nihcaj. The Hybrid type are excellent

You got it!

Put a Duracell or Energizer label on a piece of coal and it would sell! :-(

Awesome thanks for posting, I've been using non-branded coal for a while now and have been dissapointed with the results

Any idea on where I can pick up some Energizer coal ?
