I bought one of these ages ago for £12.....can't really say anything about them other than they do as they are supposed to!

I saw the batteries today alone for £5.99 for a 4 pack so, effectively, you are getting a free charger.

Also, there is a normal socket adapter available for it, it's on the Energizer website.

usb ports are standard, all (usb 1.0, 1.1 and 2.0) supply 5volts, so yes.

Can't find it online. Instore?
#8
Picked up the last three in my local Asda.
#9
instore only .
My posts on the main page whoo hoooo :-D

oh forgot to say there were loads in local asda. But they they were all beside the checkout ( next to chewing gum and stuff) , not beside the battery section.
#10
better than the uniross from homebase ?
#11
Where can I pick up a decent charger for AA (including batteries) ? None of these in my local Asda sadly.
#12
Wouldn't these take forever to charge AA & AAA via USB ?
#13
I didn't even know you could get theses, great deal and clever to get a free charge while you're using the comp.
#14
I paid full price for mine months back. Works well, and surprisingly quick to charge. Suitable for those like me that can leave it plugged into the computers USB at work all day. Heat added.

From the user manual http://www.energizer.com/usbcharger/download/CHUSB_E_F_S.pdf

900 mAH AAA - 2hours
2000 mAh AA - 4 hours
2500 mAh AA - 5 hours

Not too bad.
#16
Might aswell make a HDMI charger too.

I'm probably being dim here, but why would I want to charge via USB instead of the mains?
#19
# Could charge off a laptop [i.e. even when not near mains]
# convenience (easy to forget charing when on mains)
#20
good for people with netbooks or those who work in an office

That's right, because USB ports on a computer are powered by magic, not from the laptop's mains supply.

eco-plank? chill dude.

you missed my point, which was, that you dont have to have a mains source at the time of charging, that has nothing to do with eco, its logistics-plank thing fw
#37
Just got one at ASDA in Coatbridge. Great find - thanks!
#38
