Added " £1 EACH OR 5 FOR 40P in-store @ Tesco" to the title.

£1 each or 5 for 40p? Does that make sense?
#2
Hmmm?

I'm not 100% sure Fluff - but I fink this may have been mentioned before.....

Have some heat anyway!
#3
No It Does Not Make Sense .but Thats The Offer
#4
So why have you put 8p in the deal?

I've got 8p in my pocket, can I buy one? No.
Please ensure the price reflects the actual deal.

As I said. to ensure that the deal is accurately posted. These are not 8p each - they are up to £2.94 each. There is a special multi-buy available at 5 for 40p. Fair enough to explain in the blurb that that is equivalent to 8p each, but the deal should be posted as 40p.

More details here:

Now what were you saying about making helpful suggestions in posts?

fair comment he's made.

A deal price is the price you would pay to buy the product in the deal!

Since 8p doesn't buy you anything I suggest the OP or the mods edit the deal price or expire it!

is this a glitch or promotion clear out?

Nice spot. I now have enough bulbs to last me the next 15 years. 25 bulbs for less than price of a single Tesco's own "Tesco 20w Bayonet Cap Energy Stick 15yrs £2.94".

Are they still making money on these do you think?
#21
just bought £26 worth for £1.20
there is a voucher somewhere for delivery so wouldnt this make them free?
#22
thanks for that!
just managed to get 15 for 1.20 in my local tescos.
the manager assumed the offer was already taken down but i tried and it worked like a treat!
i doubt they will still be at the same price tomorrow though!!!
HOT FROM ME!!!
#23
Picked up 10 for 80p a few hours ago. It's not a glitch as the offer is very clearly labelled on the sticker
#24
Just back from Tesco
5 for 40p but they are all screw type only.
No standard bayonet type so no good to me
If I had 8p I`d go and borrow 32p so I could get 5 for 40p,rather than nit pick.

no normal bulbs are been replaced by energy saving ones.

Typical our tesco arent displaying this offer, they even have BOGOFF tickets on some of the bulbs but they all scan at 40p for 5

No more lightbulbs for about 15 years and for only a few quid. Plus saving on the energy bill.
Every little helps;-)

I wonder how many people are selling these on ebay at ridiculus prices!!!
