Sim only deals - Engaget list of best (current) UK sim deals

Engadget have compared all of the plans available directly from Three, O2, Vodafone, EE, GiffGaff, BT, iD, Tesco Mobile, Asda Mobile and Virgin Media based on current pricing. Might be useful to an…

Everyone will be eventually - end of minimum term, but there is no reason to their pattern - have 2 The One plan sims, but they are only kicking me off one at the moment
My minimum term ended in Jan/Feb this year (and I took out TPO contract for 12 months in December just to cover myself because I've often used over 1000 minutes and the TPO deal was worthwhile starting at 3.99 for 3 months).

I'm still waiting for them to cancel my One Plan, or try to push it up to double the price (or somewhere over 25 quid at least) at which time I'll tell them what they can do (politely, of course). In fact, just got them to send me a nano SIM and half expected that to trigger some change in the plan, and I'd have requested a refund of the SIM fee...
Guys forgot Joi Telecom. Growing Rapidply in UK, Partnered with 3 Network.

A far to simple list - there are better comparrison sites - Voted cold
Worth mentioning the other comparison sites...

(couldn't help but comment - I hate it when someone votes cold but gives no better alternatives)
If you've got issues with their information that's supplied then posting here will cause nothing to change. You will need to post in their comments section if you feel they should provide other information because posting on HUKD will achieve nothing.
While I accept the main thrust of your comment, cannot help saying that making a comment here is as good as anywhere else, insofar as someone might be able to point to another guide...

FWIW, someone did have a thread which included tethering, 3G/4G data, and unlimited being capped or truly unlimited, and mentioned the networks used by different supermarkets (AFAIK, Sainsburys uses Voda, Asda uses EE, Tesco uses O2. Unfortunately, because that HUKD contributor set up his own 'hot sim deals' website, the thread was pulled after reaching heat of around 15,000 (but I could have misremembered).

I don't know the guy, but the thread was very useful and this topic will no doubt be one which interests many people when contracts come near to ending. Not sure of the latest rules from different networks but tethering has mostly (in the past) been restricted on most plans and networks, with the One Plan being the exception. ** I stand corrected - very useful link posted by mb1 **

Edited By: webnet on Aug 10, 2015 04:44: saw very useful post in this thread on tethering

LOL What an idiot. How can you be that dumb?

Haha it was not me who did that I found it on xbox forum, I was the first person to comment on it, it is dumb thing for someone to do
I think I'll contact Microsoft too and say someone redeemed my code when I posted it all over reddit for people to redeem.

Free Google Play Music All Access for 3 months for all Chromecast owners

From Engadget: It's hard to believe that it's been a year single Google's streaming dongle arrived on the backs of TVs, bringing easy streaming chops to the masses. As a proper celebration, the folks…

is this still on?
Quick update - I had already used the free trial when Google Play Music All Access went live, so didn't think this would work, but it has. Three months free All Access! I should add that my Chromecast was imported from the US.
Says there is no offers for me....
90 day free trial just worked for me too :)
FYI, I had around 6,000 songs loaded into my Google Play music account before signing up to this trial, after I cancelled the subscription renewal, my library now shows as empty, is this intended as I now have 'All Access'? Will they show up again once the trial period is over? oO

Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and other services now open to all on Xbox One, Xbox 360

In a move that bucks the standard set by Microsoft itself back in 2005, both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 will drop the requirement for an Xbox Live paid membership to access services like Netflix, Hulu

Found two methods to unblock American Netflix in UK on any device here
If you have Sky subscription, wouldn't you normally have a sky box, so why would you want sky go on Xbox?

Because of people like me that has the sky box in the bedroom, and the xbox in the livingroom. Why pay for Sky's multi-room when you can (now) access the skygo app for free on the xbox?

Tried Netflix on Xbox 360 but still asks for Gold membership? Has anyone managed to access Netflix without Gold subscription?

I feel Xbox Live should be made free as one already pay for the Xbox as well as for other services like Netflix, Skygo etc
Haha can't believe you had to be a gold member just to access the app/service!! X)
