'Partially obstructed view'??????????

For Gods sake how on earth can we have spent billions of pounds on a state of the art stadium and STILL have obstructed view seats...thats embarrasing.

there are seat available that are not partially obstructed - i dont think it is worth voting this cold because the wembley builders couldnt build a stadium properly

I have been 5 times now and have had a good view from wherever I have sat, paid £60 for a close seat in a qualifier and then paid £40 for a high up seat for Switzerland friendly and enjoyed them both., maybe Switzerland match more as you can see all the action on the pitch.

Not going to USA match though, doesn't really tickle my fancy, especially on a Wednesday night, making the last train home is so tight...

I have been twice too - once against russia - this was really high up in the corner but was a great view
once was when Stevenage Borough won the FA trophey - we were close to the pitch and again a great view.

I recommend driving - I did the last time I went and parked my car a few streets down the road on a private drive ( I purchased the space on ebay)

I was back home in Stevenage within the hour.

when you order you will be given you row number - this is the numbers you see on the above plan so you can work out where you are

maybe its a good price because england are bargain bucket stuff, are there any totally obstructed seats as that would be the best seat to go for it would save the pain of watching a gang of overpaid loosers. i bet the tat outside will be going cheap because they wont be selling any for euro 08. does anyone have a seating plan i cant seem to see one

I would but I live in Lincoln, and prefer the train as it allows me to have a couple of drinks  and is often also cheaper than petrol, thanks anyway.

I'm sure that all but one of England's home world cup qualifiers are on wednesday night, if I go to any of these I will probably book a travel lodge or somewhere to stay as you can relax without having to leave early and worry about the train.

im used to my teams under achieving I follow tottenham and stevenage borough - England are the same but I still see my teams as often as possible - I support them through the good times and the bad.

Just an FYI for anybody booking.

DO NOT select best available as it ALWAYS comes back with the most expensive tickets going.

Their idea of best available, i.e. on the pitch is not mine, how can you see anything when you're so low.

good tip - have some rep

Can't believe there are "obstructed view" tickets. I remember a big thing being made about how good the view is from each seat how much legroom each seat had.

Maybe you'd just be sitting behind Sunderland's Andy Reid?

As a Wednesday fan I would be absolutely delighted to see my team underachieving in Spurs' position!

Sorry but this deal is so cold it's unbelievable.

I'm an England Fan, I have been to 4 matches at the "New Wembley" and I paid £35-£50 for each of the games v Brazil, Germany, Russia and Croatia and had pretty decent seats. The problem is, the 2 friendlies for these were against teams we want to see and the other 2 games are qualifiers so the price is justifiable.

Now we come to the USA, a team who are to be fair pretty awful. The game is a friendly, it's on a Wednesday night and they are charging the quite frankly ridiculous price of £60 for a good seat. It doesn't get much colder.

If you want to go to a football match for a decent price and see 2 teams battle out hard fought football go to somewhere like Charlton where the tickets are £20ish and they charge a fiver if you want to use their coach service!!!

I hope this doesn't anywhere near sell out because it doesn't deserve to.

£60 for a friendly, you can't be serious?!

Best available at Wembley is the middle tier, but that sells out before General Sale.

Then you have the choice of Category 1 which will now be rows 15-25? And Category 2 which will be 25+ in the bottom tier.

I would recommend this above the top tier as the top tier is a distance and a half from the pitch and is like watching ants at times.

P.s. I can't see these pics so if I've just posted my view of the outside of Wembley I apologise! I am copying pics URL's from my folder online which is blocked by work!

USA are 21st in the world - they have been as high as 8th recently - they qualify for the world cup every 4 years and have alot of players in the premiership.
#26
USA may be 21st in the World, but that doesn't make them any good, and certainly doesn't warrant tickets of more than £40 in price. Friendlies shouldn't be a way of taking the **** out of the fans of the game by overpricing them.

The one thing Wembley will be liking about this fixture is the amount of foreigners who come to watch it because it is a tourist attraction. They know the demand should be high so they can get away with overpricing it by almost double what it should be.

And in case you didn't realise, the USA to qualify for the World Cup have to play the likes of Barbados, Saint Lucia, Guatemala, Bermuda etc to qualify, it's hardly a big thing that they've managed to get into the last 4 world cups!!!

Average team with very average players and very very ridiculous prices to see a midweek friendly against.

Capello to "trial" a team and play his defensive style against them and watch us **** up again but it doesn't matter as it's a friendly attitude.
