So annoying that you simply have to get one!

The nearest store to me with stock is Bristol (The Mall) ... unfortunately delivery is expensive if it's the only thing you're buying.

Edit: Price dropped further to £1.50 on 17/6/2010

Summed up perfectly. Made me laugh my ass off.
#7
very annoying these things,i cant even hear the England supporters swearing and booing the other teams national anthem for all that noise:-D
#8
Vuvuzela or England band playing The Great Escape every 30 seconds.

Vuvuzela wins.

Hate the England band, ruining England matches since 1998.

Yes, my son and his mates got 7 each!

Of all the awful WC stuff these are the worst. Fed up with WC already - has it started?
#14
Arghh! the noise!!

I absolutely hate these things, and too be honest the constant sound of a swarm of bee's throughout the games is ruining the World Cup for me, even if we can watch it in HD.

I guess the only solution, is to turn the sound off, use subtitles, and play the 'Now that's what I call Great English Football songs 75' CD in the background. :)

Needless to say voting cold

the sound on tv is so bad its spoiling the matches
#16
great price heat and rep added

These things are so spoiling this years WC coverage.. I just wish there was an audio option (like there is to listen to 5 live commentary) to listen to the commentators only, with none of the noise these stupid things make.. after every game I have an headache... even worse, I was watching the HD England coverage the other day, and whenb they cut to adverts after a few minutes I did not think about missing a goal, I just thought 'Oh the peace'.
#18
 I have found out that if you buy one of these and start blowing it 'antiphase' it will cancel the ones on the TV :whistling:

These horns are as annoying as the English commentators going on and on about the 1966 world cup. As a matter of fact I wish they would get louder so as to drown out that boring same old rubbish we have to listen to year after year. At least we only have to listen to these horns this year and not 44 years.
#20
I watch the football at the lowest volume as these are ruining the world cup. I would hate to play football with that awful noise going on in the background.

Is anyone stupid enough to pay £1.99 for this gimmicky toot... plenty unfortunately!!!

COLD!
#21
anyone got one of these from argos?

any idea how big it is?
#22
Blimey, this got pretty cold!!

Shows how many people on this site vote a deal cold when really they are meaning to vote the product as cold. (Mind you, these things are incredibly annoying!)

But if its not a good product (not worth buying) then its not really a good deal is it?

This reminds me of a email I got today.

'Donate £2 to save a african child & they spend it on a bloddy trumpet!!!'

LOL

As most people agree that these damn things are ruining our viewing of the world cup, but am I alone in thinking it must be incredibly annoying for the players, and affecting the way they're playing?.The volume of these 'bee's' through the TV is bad enough, but imagine how loud it must be in the stadium? The players may be very focused, but this noise must surely impact on their concentration.

Be interesting to know what people that have been lucky enough to go out there to see a few games think.

Ordered just for the fact that my neighbours need pissing off after what they have put us through over the last year or so, revenge is sweet if not a little annoying.

I actually tried to listen to Talksports coverage to see if the buzzing was as bad on there, it is sadly, but what was worse was they were 5-10 seconds AHEAD of ITV HD's coverage, so its a no go there.

Funny but the constant droning doesn't really annoy me, I seem to block it out after a bit, perhaps it's because I live with a woman....... only joking! ;-)

#31
You might hate them but they are definitely a part of this years world cup. At £1.50 it's a cheap novelty.:whistling:==<
