These were £438 so this is a bargain, especially with the hardcase!

Epiphone have produced some unique guitars over the years and one that caught a lot of eyes when it was originally launched in 1979 was the Epiphone Genesis. With a solid Mahogany body that has been finished with a beautiful AAA flame maple veneer in Midnight Ebony this guitar looks stunning and its unique body shape is in a class of its own. No matter what style you play the Genesis has something to add to your collection. With coil splittable Epiphone ProBucker pickups you get a wide range of sounds out of a single guitar from hard rock to smooth jazz sounds and everything in between.

Glued in to the body you will find a Mahogany neck that has been carved in the loved 60's SlimTaper 'D' profile that has been used by Gibson and Epiphone for years. The neck has been designed to make this guitar as easy to play as possible so you can pick it up and play it straight away without you having to adjust to a whole new feel.

Yes I saw it to on hotukdeals looks nice but does it sound and play nice, I'm used to my fender strat
Very nice. I recently bought a hard case for a Gretsch for £109 - just the case.

So this piece of kit - mahogany set net, mahogany body with flame maple top, Epiphone Buckers with split coils, Grover tuners?

Bargain! Not my sort of thing, but a real bargain.
We have a 1990's Mexican Fender Strat too and this is a different sound - fuller, warmer, jazzier. Very different guitars, but I don't think most people will disappointed with it for £219.

There are several reviews and demos on You Tube for those who want to hear how it sounds,
