I've been after an affordable photo printer for a while but a lot of them are more geared towards general home/office...or are just far too expensive. This one gets good reviews and comes in at a penny under £70 once you get the cashback...you have to claim by March 31st. If you think the Epson inks are a little pricey you could give THESE a go...cheap as chips and solid reviews 8)

I've got one. cracking printer, never a problem with quality, manages quite thick card easily.

inks cost a small fortune! We buy Epson paper by the 500 and feed it genuine inks.

...have you ever used the much cheaper compatible cartridges to see the difference? I think the price of genuine ones are just unrealistically priced, so would go for the cheaper option (_;)

...what paper do you use (...apart from Epson)?

...still can't decide whether to stump up the extra for the A3 model oO:D

I bought loads of HP A4 photo paper cheap from Sainsbury but it's not as good as the Epson stuff. We mainly print 6x4 and it's about £37 for 500 sheets I'd send away for big prints.

I've given up with compatibles, the HP mp610 just gunked up using compatibles.

The Epson was bought full price when it 1st came out and we agreed only to feed it genuines. previously I have found the compatibles to have more fading and clogging working printers.

I might try the HP ink by post thing where you pay per sheet and the ink is delivered. But we'll wait till this dies.

I would like A3 but the cost of paper and ink to print would be prohibitive. If I want something like that there are print services that I can use for that.
