how much bigger is this than the epson R220?
#2
I think it's quite a lot bigger as it incorporates a scanner and the paper is stored internally in trays rather than from the top. It's 2Kg heavier. There are a few other nice looking epson printers at PCworld which look even better with the 10% discount which do look as big.

Excellent printer; had mine for 6 months plus and am very pleased with it. The specifications above don't mention, but it prints on CDs & DVDs too.

seems a good deal. Any other opinions?

I might get the Expson SX515 comes to £73.37 with that voucher!

this is a good price for the printer - but it used to be commonly around this price a year ago, before rocketing up for some reason.

The fact that it does not have a manual paper input put me off, but quality wise these are top notch.

If you don't need wireless, then there is now the PX650 too, which I believe has a manual input too, and of course has a cheaper RRP, but I'm not sure if it can be had for less than this.

EDIT:
Not entirely sure the PX650 has manual feed actually.
Also, RRP of the 710 has dropped to £149

This uses the Durabright inks and so is not a patch on the above for photos. Look for Epsons using the Claria inks if you want good photo printing (the 6 colour system).

This printer (PX710W) was only released 6 months ago, and I belive has never been this low in price. RRP is still at £200, but Epson have it available for purchase at £149. I like the look of the PX650 too, but need the wireless connectivity.

Ah yes, excuse me, I am thinking of the PX700W (it's predecessor?). I think they are practically the same as I can't see a difference, but if this is it's replacement, then this is even more of a good price.

I hope it means the 650 comes down in price, as I personally have no use for wifi.

In fact, I could get away with the R285 or P50 which are both Claria, but without the frills, and half the price (I predict that I still haven't got one this time next year...!)

Probably obvious to everyone else, but free delivery. I think I might go for this one. It gets great reviews on Amazon (£130) and printer review sites

I got one of these about four months ago (149.99 I think) its a good printer, I like the internal paper & photo paper trays also the tray to print the cd's /dvd's is internal so no tray to manually load as with my old printer never worked without a bash

I've went ahead and ordered this. Thanks for posting

A bargain, at DSG? Wow!
Great spot. Looking at this for around 3 months. Got in and got one on order at this price and 3% Quidco too.:):)

Anyone want a cheap Epson RX500 multifunction?
