Very hot. I bought the SX115 to take to uni with me (slower and no screen) and it's been fine. Great price for this model, and cheap inks available on ebay!
#3
Amazon had this printer for £20 more just a month ago when I ordered it for a member of staff but their compatible inks are a very good price on there still.

epson crappy at suction!

good deal, compatible inks can be picked up for a shade over £1

Is this one of those printers that you must change the empty cartridge, before it allows you to continue printing, even if the other cartridges are full?

Haven't come across one in years that work any other way tbh and when you can get the inks for 79p ish then you can afford to have a few spares kicking about (_;)

Just what I've been looking for...cheers

I have this printer and think it's very good, I print out loads of picture on it and they look very good, it do take sometime for the ink to be recognised when you change them, but they are ok in the end .

epson crappy at suction!

pray tell, what are/were you doing with it? I know some people use hoovers for non-cleaning needs, so I'm curious what one does with a printer that needs suction.

Agree with what some have said, compatatble inks work at around a quid each, good printer, I paid £65 about a year ago. Yes, you do have to change an empty cartridge once it's showing as empty to get it to work, but I recently got a program called 'Epson printer maintenance reset tool' which supposed to elimnate that if you require, will try it next time one runs out!

This printer looks tempting - I'm after a 3-in-1 printer and this fits the bill (and my budget!).

care to mention which canon this is for £39.99?

I have one can recommend this as a good buy.

Good printer, I've had one of these for a year or so and has given me no bother. I've always used the cheap cartridge bundles from Choice Stationary and the results have always been good. I've a feeling that I paid only £45ish from Asda back then though.

Is this any better than the Epson Stylus SX125 Multifunction Ink-jet printer? Is the above an ink-jet printer too? sorry, am not very technically minded.

Yes this is better then the SX125 also you can pick up compatible ink cartridges for the SX415 for about £3.00 a set whereas the SX125 will cost you £20.00 plus a set.

125 will be a basic printer, the 415 has an LCD screen which also lets you do a lot without the PC if you require.

It's a shame this isn't wireless. Would of been ideal then.
