£59.99 at PCW/Currys and £5 voucher brings to £54.99; may be more convenient for some. I think you'd struggle to find anywhere selling at claimed £99.99rrp but this is a decent further saving on a reasonable all-in-one.

I'm having to replace my Canon scanner because there are no Win7 drivers. Cheapest scanner in PCW is £140 but an all-in-one with scanner is available from about £30. Madness!

Hi, my local Tescos (East Dereham) is selling this printer for the rrp of £99.99....despite Argos and Bennetts Electrical selling it for £59.99 not more than a mile away! I bought this printer from Argos the other day and I am very impressed with it although alot of the ink is used to prime/clean the print heads but compatible cartridges are very cheap - 4x black for £2.99 or 1x black, 1x cyran, 1x magenta & 1x yellow for £2.99 from ?bay. I'm glad that I bought this printer before I start University (my Lexmark would have bankrupted me!!)

I bought this 2 days ago for £59.99 at my local Tescos.it SHOULD be nationwide at this price until 26th december.
I bought it as a replacement for my last epson that was 8 years old and the difference in speed/quality is amazing.

Gave in and got this as my old printer is acting up. Does anyone know how reliable the compatible inks are for this? I've found that what usually kills my printers is buying the non-official ink -- the cheaper ink will work for a few cartridges, but then the printer won't want to recognize it or it will clog the print heads or some other thing goes wrong. Can't bring myself to pay the crazy prices for the branded ink, though.

why not run it in compatibility mode ?

A question for Lanse. How did you manage to buy this printer for £38? Using the 10% discount at Very + 8% quidco brings the price down to £48, how did you get £38?

Cheers.

any one know the best place for the inks for this printer

nothing to do with this printer but my 2 mth old epson has just gone back as the compatible inks clogged it up sx115

Anyone who gets this, can you review how easy it was to setup? Apparently some have had problems getting the wifi going. There is a review on pg 18 of the Amazon reviews (28 Nov 2009 by Moonstone, I can't make a link that takes you to the right spot) that explains how to set it up fairly easily, but a recent comment on the review said there must've been an update on the software cd because he used that no problems. I'm curious whether to try it the reviewer's way or just to install the cd, I want whatever's least complicated, lol.

If you've not ordered at Very before there is a voucher code for £25 off your first order on the topcashback site. Including delivery this brings it down to £38. Hopefully I'll also get 8% TCB on that too!

My message to them as below:
"I bought this printer only a week ago at £53.99 but noticed it is now dropped to £52.70. I would like to ask for refund of the difference. FYI - I haven't opened the packaging or haven't started using it yet."

Hope you will get the refund as well.

Yes, have a look at the response from them.

"Dear Customer

Thanks for writing to us about the recent price change on "Epson Stylus SX515W High-Speed All-in-One Printer with Individual Inks and Wi-Fi".

I recognise you have a choice of retailers and appreciate that you prefer to order from us. Please note that we do not extend a post-order price guarantee.

I've reviewed your order and see that the price change was significant and you just received this item from us. Under the circumstances, I'll make a one-time exception for you and issue a refund for the price difference in the amount of 1.29 GBP. Refunds usually go through within 2 to 3 business days and you will see this amount credited on your next statement."

Didn't this code expire at the end of July 2010?

I don't tend to print too much but I am tempted by this. Does the printer ink on this "clog up" if you don't print too often?
#34
Not too sure as I only have this printer for about a month or so. But so far it works great.
#35
I am a light user so haven't seen this problem as yet.
#36
amazon, or the dealer they were working with screwed up the deliver, estimated delivery date was 30 dec.

not sure whether i wait for amazon to restock it, or i get a refund, the monkey on the phone was useless.

Hi,

I just wondered if anyone had been able to confirm the availabilty (or not) of these compatible ink cartridges for the sx425w?

Also, any problems with the printer?

Thanks in advance
