seems quite a good deal. I check how much the inks will cost, hopefully I will be able to find one in stock Heat!!!!

Thanks, same price at Amazon too: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Epson-Stylus-SX125-Print-Printer/dp/B003N8DBKW - warning that the reviews aren't brilliant, I bought it for a colleague too, and after 2 months it has failed and has to be returned to an Epson Service Centre. However on the bright side they gave him a new set of inks and then when the replacement arrived it was a brand new one with another set..

Spend another £20 and get the sx515 and then you can spend 50p per cart from ebay, pay for itself... much better in the long run

Quick glance on ebay suggests that even compatible inks are quite expensive. I'd be tempted to look for a different model.

carts are very cheap, got 5 sets for this model off ebay for 10 quid. Good printer too.

I never pay more than 87p for any inks for any epson printers :)

@Missgem where do you get the inks for 87p from.? Can you get them for this? If so I'm tempted!

Well, I can get the carts for 2p each.

But I'm also going to be a complete a***hole and not tell people where to get them, as it seems like the cool thing to do these days...
#13
for that price when the ink runs out, buy a new printer, will work out cheaper, lol

There is no way you are getting these new range of Epson compatibles for £0.87p already.

There is a massive shortage around Europe for these and most shops / websites are collecting pre-orders for £4 - £6 a cartridge (although they do contain 3 times more ink then the Orignal ones which I am led to believe hold a tiny amount of ink).

Even eBay has them at the £7 - £8 mark at the moment from the first lot that arrived in the UK 4 weeks ago

Until these come down in price the best thing to do is buy an older Epson printer bundled with compatible inks that you can then buy replcaement cartridges for £0.50 - £1.00
#16
theyre selling on ebay without ink for under £16.00
cartridges are going for £9 on ebay that is

It would help us all if you could let us know where we can get the cartridges for this printer for £0.87p like you have said you can rather then just posting a link to the printer?
