I always said that I would NEVER touch another Epson due to problems they've given me in the past but I saw this on offer before Xmas for £48 and gave in. Got to say its a great piece of kit for the money, the WiFis is a godsend!!

To be honest, the search function isn't all good. I searched for 'Epson' in the 'last week' and only this deal came up and the Dixons equilivent.

My Dad's ol' Lexmark printer has given up the ghost, although he hasn't given up trying to repair it yet I thought I'd start looking around for him :whistling:

Expired as well as the Dixons deal.

Shame.

Wifi connection to printer while using Windows 7 causes the installation program to crash. 4 hours trying to install this printer wirelessly now and fed up. I don't think it is seriously meant for use with Windows 7. There is a small photocopied piece of paper that comes with the instruction book, giving a link for Windows 7 users to look at on the Epson site. When you go there and give the printer model and operating system, it lets you download the wireless setup program - the same one, it crashes immediately you try to start the install with Windows 7.

Going back I'm afraid.

Not sure anyone left with any interest in this topic but just in case there is, installed it wirelessly onto XP netbook, no problems whatsoever.

Found a workaround for Windows 7 that doesn't need the crashing software, so it's probably not going back. 7 hours all in all though!
