This looks real hot, but where's the £5 off voucher? I can only see the free delivery & jewels vouchers?

Nice post.

very good - doh! just got one off ebay for £63 too!

That's my printer, I paid about this via another HUKD (PCWorld) deal last year some time. Very good printer, very cheap compatible inks (the 65p ones often seen on here for instance) BUT can be a right pig to set up to work wirelessly.

My advice, set up the printer at the printer end (Wireless setup from menu) then get your PC to find it - this way rather than setting it up on USB first as stated, with supplied installation software. Once set up it works a dream - if anyone has problems installing or using this, remember this topic and give me a shout - I'm no computer expert by any means but I have wrestled this beast and after a good long fight defeated him!

Well recommended all told!

You get a £5 voucher to use at a later date when you spend over £50 this week, so essentially £5 off but not directly off this purchase if you see what I mean.

Compatibles have been out for a while for this printer, look for the model here: http://www.buytech.co.uk/Epson/ prices start at just 65p per cart.

I meant inks for the printer I posted here IE: Epson SX515W. I thought you were saying that there aren't compatibles for this model.

Chill out? I'm chilled mate, I wouldn't be if it was my deal though with you spouting totally wrong information and telling people not to bother!!!

It's a GREAT printer with VERY cheap compatible inks - I own one, he doesn't, please DO bother lol
#15
Yeah I wish i'd waited for this 515 model, I too have the 425 and it does thru ink quick. No compatibles for the 425 , might send mine back as faulty and get this one instead!!
#16
Would you guys say this is the best all in one printer for this kind of money or is there something better out there?

I think it would be hard to beat due to the low running costs when using compatible inks. You will see many half price offers for HP, Canon and Lexmark but check the running costs first.

For wireless with compatible inks I'd not seen anything around this price that compares - I saw a Lexmark which was very good at a special offer price around this but of course the inks will bankrupt a good number of us in time. HTH.

Ordered - thanks OP !!

great post. thx op. are people happy with the photo print quality please? would it serve for general photo printing? (not expecting super print quality).

Oh ok then. I wonder what I said that was WRONG lol

Anyway, I won't repeat what I already said anymore!

I have a little HP photo printer for "real" photo printing but for half decent, this is fine.

I paid £89.00 for this printer yesterday. Do you think they will give me a refund if I take it back. I notice on there terms that they will price match any local store but Dixons is web based now.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

I have one of these, had it since about March this year. Very good all round, even better at 60 quid. I got my ink off Ebay, 3 blacks and 3 sets of colours for about 7 quid delivered.

Don't think about it if you fancy one, just buy it, you will be pleased you did.
#29
£39.99 if you are willing to put up with a wire rather than wireless.
#30
I have one of these and get my ink from inkredible .co.uk
Have had no probs so far!
#31
Great Find.

Bought this on Monday from PC World for 89.99, so using their price promise, have reserved at local Argos and will take that in to PC World tomorrow and get the £30 back plus another £3 for the 10% difference promiseon purchases within the last 7 days.

Heat and Rep given.

Scanner wise is it good?
Because i need a scanner to upload my art into photoshop and colour in
or would i be best off buying a real scanner?
#33

Definately a great printer...I bought his for £65 about 12 months ago and have also got the compatible inks working fine with it.
Hot deal !!

I think the photo print quality is very good....I used kodak paper and have printed quite a few photos - Im really happy with my purchase.

Paid a lot more than this for one, but dont regret it at all, its a great printer, very handy that its wireless too. I particularly like the way it works like a proper photocopier so you dont have to mess about scanning documents into your computer. (+as mentioned the inks can be found cheap).... just get it!
#39
do you think this would work STAND ALONE with an iPad?

Does it cost £500 and have a glowing fruit on the front? No? then forget it.
