i think its around £90 in staples without codes, i bought it 2 weeks ago
#4
Not a bad price but around £98 elsewhere plus delivery, except Amazon who are awaiting stock.
Seems this could soon be the 'going rate'
Cheapest so far though so voted NOT

You think? Staples website says £139.99 though.

Also, does it do double sided printing?

Thats quite deceptive. The one on sale there is a sx400 not a sx405. The 405 is a wifi one, around £100, this isnt. This can be bought from staples for £59.99

Whats deceptive about it ? they are just saying its cheap they never said it was the same.
#13
any 1 got any links for ink cartridges thanks
#14
just a quickie on staples. Never go by their website, it is updated rarely. A printer I wanted is about £300 on their site, but £229 in store :)

Lol. Who said i was saying that the person who pointed the link out was being deceptive? And when did i say that the product mentioned was or was not the same as that mentioned in this thread? You seem to be confused. Very confused.

I was referring to the title of the product within the link sir. Thank you for your comment.

These were £99.99 in PC world recently but it looks like the price is up now. Good price, voted hot.
#17
Please add the price to the title otherwise having the next cheapest price as a reference is meaningless for those using text only mode.

Any opinions on how this measures up to a HP6380?

http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/category/576/Multifunctional-Printers with code 10MFPRINT = £90 + delivery (or collect from store)

Top Cash Back gives 4 % on cash back on comet collect from store. So works out abut the same for what looks to me as a better printer.

Admins, I don't if I can say it here but people feel free to message me for a refer by link.

Got one of these last month from Staples after a bt of haggling for £90.00 Prices seemed to have crept up again so this deal is a good price.

Cartridges for Epson printers are easy to find but I tend to use Jettec ones which I feel are a bit better quality. Got a complete set of four for £13.99 + £0.49 postage from cartridge shop.

They also sell the cartridges individually.

Got 15 replicata carts from ebay for £15 delivered.
Bought my 600FW (check this is the same - it says 600F) for £90ish from Dixons, delivered, when using a code.
Fantastic printer, BTW.... especially like the scanner sheet feeder.

Sorry that has got to be the worst excuse for not voting either way on a 'current' deal.

Please tell me you made a typo (seeing as the H and N key are situated near each other albeit different rows) because saying something is the 'cheapest so far' and then saying 'voted not' is just plain weird!
#25
Got this for £80 a few weeks back on CDiscount (less Quidco)

A fantastic all in one printer... voted hot even at this price (saw it in PCWorld the other day at £156)

I got this last September for £100 from PC World, it's a decent printer, it has both Ethernet and wireless which is great. You can also do wireless scanning from both OS X and Windows (XP, Vista, 7) which is a nice feature.

Under £20 for a whole set of ink from here: http://www.ink2u.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_6_2620_2604

You can get the inkrite refills even cheaper once you have the outer cartridges.

Amazon dont have stock, the cheapest by market seller is £131.

I dont understand what you mean by "cant get the print cart for anything", but this model is a lot of steps up from an SX200

I dont think it does auto double side prints, i think it does a comedy manual double sided prins, though.

If anyones interested, you can print lined/square paper on it by using the menus (no pc required), also, you can plug in a memory stick and do a slideshow on the screen.... who needs a photo frame?
