Bargain.

Erbauer stuff is alright, far better than equivalent priced B&Q ownbrands etc.

It's cheap, but I would spend the extra and get a decent one.
Cheap ones tend wobble and not cut very straight as a result.

Erbauer stuff is pretty good and has two year warranty so just return it to screwfix if it breaks within that period.

It out-performs the ADLI saw by about 500 watts, if you could notice it ( I doubt it ).......but the platform and saw are the same.

No they're not, the Erbauer is built a little better with a better swivel base. If anything this looks more like the Performance Power ones B&Q have to offer.

I haven't seen all the saws in this price range. I think it depends upon the stability of the work platform, and of course the quality of the unit itself, but the skill of the user is most important.

I've used great saws under bad conditions and made poor cuts because I didn't set it up properly....It's down to the user in the end........Obviously a 200 pound saw will perform better.

Nice find, heat added.

Heat added.

Erbauer tools are good, and 2 year warranty is a bonus. Screwfix are good at replacing under warranty if you have any problems.

Erbauer saw has a metal cutting deck, the cheaper ones such as the aldi one have plastic decks, which tend to flex/move relative to the blade, and are also harder to set cutting angles on - leads to poor accuracy on cuts.

The Aldi is a size down 210mm not 254mm, though that's not all bad, cheaper blades and lighter weight.

I bought the Aldi one 2 years ago, the base is metal, bargain for £20.
