Just bought a "single" mattress - feels JUST as good as a Tempur (in my humble opinion it's actually better) for a fraction of the cost! Comes with 10 year guarantee.

I have a single bought at Lidl for 70 quid, and I can't tell the difference between it and Tempur either, but I doubt if they will come in that cheap again.

There are however still LOADS of cheaper memory foam mattresses around so it boils down to making a choice based on what you find - the quoted totally anonymous site with 5 reviews in total doesn't inspire at all, but there are MANY more here, which is a lot more promising:

Thanks for the link nihcaj :) I'll update the original post. The quoted link I felt was a good description of the mattress [and not really a "score" for it.]

I sorted the review scores in your link from low to high ... lowest was a 10/10, lol!

I can only vouch for personal experience when I say that the mattress really is _that_ good! I've compared with "top-sheet" style memory foam mattresses and cheap Ikea/Tescos memory mattresses and they don't even register on the arbitrary scale of comfort. Can't vouch for the expired Lidl deal though :)

Bought a Kingsize Memory Foam Mattress from Memory Foam Warehouse...

http://www.memory-foam-warehouse.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=mfw1000-150 - £369 with 2 free meomry foam pillows...have 9% Quidco at the time too, although not on Quidco now, they are on other cashback sites with 10% cashback (Use MSE's Cashback checker - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/cashback-sites-comparison/)

Love it!

From someone who has had a Tempur for six years, I can assure you it is much better than any of these mattresses. For a start the minimum depth of the Memory Foam in a Tempur is 15cm; mine is actually 20cm and you can get a 25cm as well. It's the depth of the Memory Foam that makes the difference, not the total depth of the mattress. I paid £1200 for mine (after getting a 20% discount). However, having said that these mattresses at these prices are very good value for money.
