You need to include delivery in price. For £3.99 this might have been hot but for £6 it's not.

selling on Ebay for round the same, also means you can get cashback.

You may be able to get the back off with this tool but I bet you won't get it back on again!
#4
I take the back off with a pair of scissors and prise out the battery with whatever sharp tool is at hand!

the best way to get a screw off back watch case open is with a ball of black gaffa tape pressed on the back and twist. no nasty marks left doing it that way either. :)

Same here. Cheap and Nasty. Good comment earlier about getting the back back on again as well. Thanks for the thought but Cold.Cold.Cold.

You can buy a clamp tool for re-fitting the backs.

I've got something similar to this, which I actually find quite useful. Could someone explain what the blue and grey things are, and how to use them... I use my kit for either unscrewing the backs with the adjustable pin thing, or prising them off with the knife, but I'd quite like to know what the rest of it is meant to do! Thanks.

Have been thinking of getting one of these recently as my jeweler now charges £6 to replace a watch battery.

Can someone suggest a better quality kit as the opinion seems to be that this is not a very good one.

A suggestion for where to get a clamp tool for re-fitting the backs would also be helpful.

Could someone explain what the blue and grey things are, and how to use them...

The Blue thing is a link extractor you use it to push out the pin that holds links together on a metal strap. Pace the strap between the screw in pin and the solid side and as you screw it in it pushes out the pin. I think the grey part is just for holding straps in place while you use the small hammer to tap the pins back in.
