I think your underselling this one a bit. It's probably the best A/V solution on the market and it comes with the security centre which includes antispyware, antispam and firewall. It always scores well in the A/V charts and is often the choice of businesses looking to protect their networks so it is very good whilst being quiet and barely noticeable until something nasty comes along.

Definitely worth the money and then some.

eset is crap these days, it used to be good...i had it for a while, than i've switched to AVG and it already found few threats that eset couldn't catch...bitdefender is also brilliant...cold from me

You could say that about any antivirus... if im standing at your door guarding it and i choose who can go in or out, and i decide that i want to go in who is going to stop me! same thing, your at your antivirus' owners mercy!

It's the least resource hungry, low cpu and low memory usage anti virus out there and that is why all the overclockers and enthusiast gamers use it. I work in music production and use it because it is has great anti virus capabilities and does not interfere with any of my work, slowing the computer down, latency and lag etc.

If Microsoft tracked my every move I would see a huge hit on my computers performance but maybe they can’t track me as I do wear a tinfoil helmet.

It's obvious pet2000 doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

I'll look into MSE for next year - I'd bought ESET for the mother in law in the hope she can install and forget about it.
