ESPN free for 3 months on Sky plus £5 cashback (make a profit!)
I rang Sky this evening as my team were playing in a friendly game on ESPN and I'd heard they were doing another free subscription period for the channel.
I thought it might have been one of those typical Sky type offers which you can only get if you're down on their system as having been mailed it but no it's open to everyone as I was given it with no questions asked.
I later kicked myself after realising the offer is listed on the Sky website and I could have got £5 cashback from TCB / Quidco and actually made a profit but nevermind.
Conditions are that you must have or upgrade to Sky Sports and 31 days notice is required for cancellation.
And yes I am already aware that ESPN is bundled inclusively on some rival operators packages.

What kind of daft comment is that? I would have thought the fact that my forum piccy is of Luis Suarez (in a Liverpool kit) and my user name relates to a well known landmark in Istanbul where I spent 3 excellent days in May 2005 that my chosen football team was pretty obvious, no?

They did say at the time the channel will be made available on Sky and Cable. Would be pretty daft not to.

but virgin media is rubbish, and so is espn, so they are good bedfellows.
i might ring up sky in the morning then and ask, or go through the site - they just gave me a free new hd box as my old hd box couldnt give me the new epg. so now i have a nice spare one.
but yeah ive never paid for espn only get it for the free month now and again. just make sure here to put a reminder in your calendar for 2 months after it starts so you can cancel and get the final month still. it wont be worth watching though im sure - im a liverpool fan but i wont pay to watch us in meaningless matches. which i guess rules out our euro matches this year haha.

The bloke did ask me on the phone whether I'd had ESPN before or not. But I doubt it'll make any difference as it doesn't make any mention of it on the website as far as I can see.
