One pint = about 35p

so your paying £1.65 for a loaf of bread....

That can't be right? no wonder this is cold

Typo its actually a litre

I thought Cravendale was quite expensive on its own. Isn' that the stuff that's so good the cows want it back, or something like that?

[B]Bit befuddled as to why this is SO cold. Cravendale is gorgeous milk and a bit more expensive than your normal milk.

The typo (pint?) didn't help I guess, but it's not as bad a deal as the coldness is showing. More of a heads up than a deal, I suppose. But worth knowing.

Indeed worth knowing about.

Cravendale milk has been on and off £1 for 2 litres in supermarkets, although recently it has stuck at around £1.50ish for 2 litres. I've never looked at the 1 litre price.

I do have one 24 hour Tesco near me, but if I am ever in there during unusual hours like when I am late back from somewhere, it always seems to have no decent loaves left.

I still think this is a decent enough deal for heat.

My local Tesco express stores are open until 23:00h on a Sunday and re-open at 06:00h Monday morning.

Alternatively the local supermarket petrol station kiosks are open until about midnight even on a Sunday; they tend to stock the essentials such as milk & bread.
