A far better deal than that is this:

# Intel Celeron D 3.06Ghz Processor
# 512MB Memory
# 80GB SATA II Hard Drive 7200RPM
# DVD-RW 16x Dual Layer Optical Drive
# 7in1 Card Reader+Floppy Disc Drive
# VGA Onboard
# Dimension:180 (W) x 360 (H) x 420 (D) mm
# Operating System- DR-DOS 7.0
# Nero Express 6
# Norton Anti-Virus 2006 (90 day trial)
# Power DVD 6
# On Board 10/100 LAN
# UK Black Keyboard - Cherry
# Optical Mouse
# Warranty: 3yrs RTB

Basic improvements are:

1. Better Processor
2. 256MB extra ram
3. 7-1 card reader
4. XP Home

It's £55 more, but it's JUST been reduced and £55 is the cost of XP home anyways. I ordered one for my Dad
on Sunday and it was £234.99! D'oh!

You also get a 3 year warranty with the one I mentioned.
Thanks thekanester :) did see that...

Not sure if the OS is XP as you have mentioned
No XP on that one thekanester
Geez, I just filled that one in before I was leaving for work this evening. That'll show me for not reading properly.

However, despite that, I still think the maxdata represents better value for money, since you get:

1. Better processor
2. Twice memory.
3. Double disk-space.
4. DVD writer.
5. 3 Years guarantee instead of 1.

But yeah, I'll need to be reading things better in the future.
