Bottle of bubbly for £12 !!
Christmas coming up, I wouldn't complain drinking this at the table.
Heat added
This bubbly is probably genuinely worth around the £12 mark. Best this has been was a couple of years back when Sainsburys had it for £10...

Damn those were the days
Damn those were the days
I really hope this gets repeated this year!!!!! Max. 3 per person my backside (as I nipped in, paid, dropped in car.......repeat at a different till...........)
Interesting article here from a couple of years back. I don't believe this will ever drop to £10 again (unless there is a surplus left after Xmas). decent write-up and the top seller.
Anyone got views/experience of how these two Tesco Champers stack up against this, as with the 25% off for newbies that means the first one is cheaper than the Sainsburys offer and the second one is the same price:
Rene Florency Champagne Brut NV
Gauthier Brut Champagne NV
That Gauthier does appear a step up from this Etienne Dumont?
Free next-day delivery when spending over £50 at Tesco as well I believe.

Exactly !!
Mind you, saying something sensible like that will annoy the 'experts' on here who are always taken in by this sort of marketing nonsense.
If this champagne was just re-labelled Lambrini, the'd still spout about how good value it is.
LOL!! I think I might pick up just the one for a party this Sunday then hold out for the Bolly/Tatty though...
But probably not better than the Vintage or Especial Cavas, from Freixenet or Cordonui.. For around £6 --> £7 per bottle :)
