It would be difficult to buy this at £29.99. Sainsbugs often sells this at £13.99 per bottle, so really a saving of £3.

£29.99? they've got to be joking.

'Hmm, what shall I buy? Piper Heidsieck, Lanson, Bollinger, Möet, Mumm Cordon Rouge? No, I'm going spend my £30 on a nice bottle of Etienne Dumont...'

Do me a favour Sainsburys, nobody pays top dollar for a virtually own brand champagne. This offer is misleading.

yes £29.99 or about 3 quid more for Verve...... its sometime why I go for a really good Cava or sparkling, better than many low end champaign's (although there are a lot of good smaller champaign houses).

Clos Ministrol is one of the best vintage cavas IMO. On special every Christmas for the last few years & I've had a case each year. Very little between this & most NV Champagne. Heat

Lindauer is the nicest cava I have ever had, reasonable price at £8 - £9 but only on offer a couple of times a year, much better than the mid range champagnes around.

Clos Monistrol at "half price" is a very regular offer at Sainsbury's - I wouldn't want to pay full price for it. However, at £6 a bottle it's good value for a nice little bubbly.
