Also, if you already have "Media Go" installed you can browse the PlayStation Store by way of this hyperlink:

I dislike the way they quote figures like this...

"Topatoi (was £7.99/9.99 now £3.19/3.99)"

I paid £6.29 for this downloadable title ("topatoi™: The Great Tree Story (Full Game)") on 11 December 2009.

Yes, it was £7.99 when it was first released to the 'Store (2 July 2009), but they have listed the "heads-up" as if you are getting a better deal because you may think that the price will revert back to £7.99 on 21 January 2010.

Either way, all the prices are lowered than they were yesterday! :)

PS. * Reminder *

Grab the currently discounted prices before the European PlayStation Store is updated this afternoon as some titles may return to their previously listed price.

PSN Seasonal special offers - 17/12/2009 - Some good ones too. New Titles added.

I can see on the 'Store now that the prices in the above deal listing are still valid, but the Thursday update typically occurs from 4pm onwards.

The prices on the PlayStation Store are much nearer to, if not match, the Recommended Retail Price for the (Blu-ray or Universal Media) Disc-based products.

Yes, they can be found cheaper elsewhere in physical form, but for digital delivery from the PlayStation Store these prices are reduced from what they were previously (or, rather, they will be reduced later this afternoon from what the current prices are set at).

The prices on the 'Store are kept at a higher level than the physical products by design so that the retailers that typically sell the PlayStation-branded consoles have an incentive to do so (as customers may buy higher profit margin games from the same retailer). If the PlayStation Store matched the high street or (other) online retailers on price then those outlets may be less-inclined to sell the hardware required to play the game titles.

Savage moon.

Well worth 4 quid of anyone's money. About 60-70 hours of lovely tower defense goodness.

Thanks!

I've had the Playable Demo on my hard drive since it was available (7 May 2009), & have never got around to trying it; probably explains why I keep running out of hard drive space! :)

Is it similar (in tower defence game-play, not graphical presentation) to "PixelJunk Monsters" (if you are familiar with that title)?

Are they talking about Topatoi: Spinning Through The Worlds here?

That looks like a half decent game as per the reviews I have just scoped.

As I mentioned above, the actual title is ""topatoi™: The Great Tree Story"; but yes, the "Spinning Through The Worlds" subtitle is sometimes quoted.

There is also a further download for this title: "topatoi™: Arcade Style Pack (Game Pack)" (available from 8 October 2009).

It was free (£0.00) when I downloaded this additional content (11 December 2009).

Not a problem (unless you are a school girl).

More of a concern is the cold vote dropping the temperature from 68 to 63 degrees.

If the aforementioned voter can offer a suggestion about where to obtain these digital titles cheaper (without resorting to a file-sharing site), I would appreciate the feedback.

Thanks.

Yes, I'm a fan of the PS3 version of "PixelJunk Monsters" (and use of Remote Play on a PSP). I bought it on the day of release. However, I have not tried the revised "Deluxe" bespoke version for the PlayStation Portable platform yet.

My PS3 hard drive is too full with demos at present (to download the full game of "Savage Moon") but after your suggestion I'll try out the previously downloaded "Savage Moon" Playable Demo & go through to a purchase before 21 January 2010.

Thanks again.

Bought Pixeljunk rcers thinking it was a supersprint clone with trophies and online multiplayer  Should just about get my £4 squids worth though, although I really need to do a bit better research.............

Deal voted hot (exires today), might try savage moon. Did someone mention a demo?

Does this mean there will be new offers from tomorrow??
