not the greatest by far but thanks for the heads up :)

If you purchased "Magic Orbz" during the last fortnight, the reduced Bundle/Booster/Winter packs would be an option.

"Wakeboarding HD" is a relatively new addition to the 'Store & is obviously not selling that well; hence the rapid drop in price.

(I couldn't finish the tutorial in the Playable Demo!).

Also, the Game Packs for "LittleBigPlanet" for the PSP are around half price too.

PS. Don't forget the ongoing free "minis" incentive at present with Episodes 7, 8, 9 & 10 of the "FirstPlay" digital magazine:

PS3 Free Mini's next four weeks with firstplay @ PSN (99p) Ep 7 8 9 10.

[EDIT]: "Blast Off" is this week's free "minis" title included in the £0.99 purchase price (or ongoing subscription fee); "FirstPlay Episode 8".

Fanpages I know you put up the psn offers every week but sometimes the offers are like this and are just not great. I am waiting for the pixel games to be on offer.

Sorry... unfortunately I was not part of the selection team (today)! ;)

There is a Playable Demo of "PixelJunk Shooter" on the European Store this week.

Up until yesterday (when it was available on the US 'Store) it was only available in Japan.

BFN,

fp.

[EDIT]: Voting temperature has just dropped from 16 to 11 degrees... then up to 21, back to 14 :)

Oh I am not blaming you, I was just saying although it is a helpful seeing what is on offer these kinds of deals will either be cool, middle of the road or hot so don't get disappointed if this one doesn't get hot.

Thanks... I've had a few "hits" & "misses" over the months with these listings.

Sometimes they do not pick up temperature until the following weekend, or even the following week.

No harm in listing them though. If one member benefits from the deal thread then it is worth the trouble.

Please let me know when FF9 drops to £5

I just want them to put tombi on there :(:(

Is it too much to ask!?!?! :(:(

No harm in listing them at all fanpages. Im glad you post them up every week, or i would forget to check myself.
Its just ashame this week is not as good as a couple of weeks ago, where i got myself a couple of games.
I look forward to your post on the 9th June (outlining all of the new offers) :)

You are very welcome. No need for the "rep", but thanks all the same.

Do you have a PSP Go console?

If you do, there is a new offer on the way...

FYI: Ten free games offer for PSP Go console

Im getting the Magic Orbz add on pack and maybe Wakeboarding.

Hot, cheers buddy.

The only games I'm waiting for to go on offer is Savage Moon and the pixel games mainly shooter though. But seeing as they have just released the demo I doubt it'll be on offer anytime soon.

You have missed on offer for "Savage Moon" this year:

EXPIRED - European PlayStation Store Special Offers until 21 January 2010;

The same fortnight "PixelJunk Racers" was also reduced in price. It was released on the PlayStation Store in August 2007, with a Playable Demo available a month later. "PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap" is due for release in the next few weeks.

As demonstrated with "Wakeboarding HD" longevity on the 'Store is not an indication of the eligibility for a price reduction.

I would imagine it would have something to do with how well a title is selling (at the current price).

"PixelJunk Shooter" has been a popular title since it was first available (on 10 December 2009).

Just last week, Dylan Cuthbert, President/Managing Director of Q-Games, announced that "PixelJunk Shooter 2" was in production:

PixelJunk Shooter 2 in Full Production!.

Once this is available I would expect a fall in price of the first title in the series, even if just for a promotional period, rather than a permament price reduction.

Quite a sought after title now lookng at pre-owned prices on eBay.

Why not try listing a "Wanted" thread in the "For Sale / Trade" forum?

All original PlayStation (One) CDs play in PlayStation 3 consoles from the same territory (i.e. a PAL PlayStation disc will play in a PAL PS3 console).

For the most part I would agree with you, but "Magic Orbz" is quite entertaining (for me & my kids), & "LittleBigPlanet" for the PSP has a strong following.

I think everybody is just waiting for "Peggle" & "Peggle Nights" to fall in price every fortnight.

(I bought "Peggle Nights" on PC CD-ROM new/sealed for 98p in-store at GAME last month!)

What titles, if any, do you like to play from the choice on the PlayStation Store?

I never really got to grips with any "Bomberman" title. I've tried the offering from the PlayStation Store, but gave up.

Do you like anything developed in this millennium? :)

Earlier than 4pm perhaps as that is the time that the PlayStation Network is undergoing maintenance (until 4:30am tomorrow!). During that twelve & a half hour period users may find they cannot log-on or that connections may take a few attempts to be successful.

With regards "Joe Danger", I hope Sean Murray at Hello Games has implemented some of the Trophies I suggested (on page 2) in his Blog entry at the Official EU PlayStation Blog (5 March 2010)...

fanpages (5 March 2010)

Without knowing more details about the actual game-play mechanics such as what (if any) tricks you can do whilst riding, or whether you can dismount, perform seat-stands, or move whilst riding at all (such as handstands, headstands, and so on) may I make the following suggestions for potential Trophy awards (to complement the “Wheelie Good At This” Trophy suggestion put forward by Amherst_Wind_4)?…

“Born to be wild” – Play through your first level without crashing or falling off

“Easy Rider” – Take part in your first multiplayer race (online)

“Leader of the Gang” – Win five multiplayer races in a row

“Tour de Farce” – Lose five multiplayer races in a row

“Motorcycle Emptiness” – Clear an entire level without missing any bonus items

“Born To Run” – Play continuously for over an hour

“Stranger Danger” – Play against (a number of) players not in your Friends List.

“Last of the Gladiators” – Stay riding to the finish when all other multiplayer riders have fallen off their bikes

“Ride on Time” – Beat your previous best in a timed event five times in a row

“Cunning Stunt” – Devise a stunt set-up that has keeps you airborne for 20 seconds

“Publicity Stunt” – Capture a photo (or video for a YouTube.com account) of yourself upside-down

“Stunt Double” – Execute the same set of stunts in the same order recording the same time for the entire level

“Wheelie Dizzy” – Perform a wheelie stunt through the entire length of a circle loop

“Leave it to the Kidd” – Make an amateur mistake like crashing into the first obstacle or falling off before attempting any stunt

[I subsequently read, however, that there was no online (multi-player) game aspects planned (for the initial release)]

Also, I see from the video trailer for the title currently available from the US PlayStation Store that the developers at Hello Games have corrected their numbering system from the original images released to the press...
