Wait until the ice melts?

Is this a live stream, or can you view at a later point?
Might be interested for American College football next season, but not if it's always on in the middle of the night!

I think I'll sign up for this soon (offer ends on 31st Jan), though when I tried Eurosport Player on a free trial years ago (came as an offer with my Panasonic plasma), the picture quality was dismal - looked sub-SD to me (wired connection, had decent ADSL at the time). Is the picture quality good on Eurosport Player now - i.e. 720p with a sharp picture?

I never subscribed after the trial because of the price and the poor picture quality - hopefully both are remedied now. Also, how far back does the catchup service go and is everything on catchup (unlike iPlayer, which skips stuff it doesn't have catchup rights for)?

I followed the GET DEAL link just now and it ended up on the subs page which still has the 19.99 offer on the right hand side.

I did sign up for the offer a few days ago and I'm quite impressed. The Android app works well and the picture is 720p and pretty sharp (you can force the res to 720p instead of Auto, but you have to that for *every* fresh stream - it doesn't remember it..grr). Catchup goes back 7 days in case you're wondering.

A lot depends on whether you like the sports that Eurosport cover - luckily I like about 5 or 6 of them, but others may only like 1 or 2 and might not think it's such a good deal. If it stayed at 19.99 for future years, I could definitely see myself renewing.

Deal is still on, it says until 31/1/2017 now.

Totally stoked about this deal, much better than some of the dodgy methods out there.
I now get a lot more than just the usual 2 channels, as it has lots of live feeds running at the same time. Including some live footy from far off lands. And on top of that the video on demand section for playing the programs whenever I want. I hope they have this as an on going deal as the price suits me fine at £20 a year.

I personally have connected an old pc up the the TV and watch it through that. Thanks a bunch for the heads up.
