Because you don't get to choose your departure time, don't have a guaranteed seat, and don't earn Avios with Eurostar Snap... pay £1 more and get to be on a train of your choosing at a sane hour, a seat, and earn Avios...

Yeah but on the snap tickets you are given a random time to travel with only 48 hours notice.

Just booked a trip today which came to £125, clicked through to that offers web page and there were much better times than the 7am departure I booked and 8pm return for less than what I paid, even though terms and conditions state book before 9th of January?

Does anyone know any way I can get in contact with Eurostar about this, seems a bit sneaky to me.

Eurostar snap is brilliant. I got £19 each way tickets a few weeks ago for me and my daughter to Paris. Due to delays beyond their control, we even got our trip back to London refunded! The only thing that's a negative for me as I can't book for my 8 year old on there as you have to be over 16.
