There is a Toys'R's next to the Cite Europe which is very close to the tunnel exit.

Also any of the supermarkets might sell it.

However unless its a stock issue in the UK and you can't find it here, it will be much more expensive in France due to the rate of exchange.

Somone let Gordon Brown know and maybe a few illegal immigrants could be taken back cheaply.

Yup, happy for one to use your return ticket!

Pity it has to be in a car. Would prefer just to go direct to Paris, unless you're shopping I don't particularly find calais interesting. And I hate driving in Paris.

Hot none the less.

Mega hot thanks for that yipee

Superb price. I used to manage to get "friends and family" rates and get day crossings for about £15.

Its such a shame the exchange rates mean its pointless not for shopping trips.... though a visit is always worthwhile, as it the "been there, done that" tag for the Euro-Tunnel, which is highly recommended.

Mega Hot from me.

Agree exchange rate at the moment is poor, not worth shopping, but a great day out and a great find. Heat added.

Thanks to the OP for the post - Brilliant Deal.

It is not actually necessary to call EuroTunnel, at great expense, on the 0870 number. Go to the web-page and fill in the little form below the 'phone number and they should call you back. That method should save a couple of quid.:santa:

Went over to France & Belgium (Baccy run) yesterday on the boat.

If anyone is looking for Go Go Hamsters, the Toys r Us and Carrefour in Cite Europe don't stock them.

Also, didn't see much Hannah Montana stuff at all.

Steve.

Fab price, shame the drive to Calais takes me about 4 and a half hours!

Hi Steve,

Love doing the shopping trips but as we live in Blackpool it is a 5 hour slog down and with the exchange rate...... Did you notice the alcohol prices at the tunnel shop? My hubby likes beers like Speckled Hen and we usually buy loads on the ferry to make our trip worthwhile.

Thanks for any help. We don't smoke, btw.

Will they let you buy two sets of return tickets so you could go out, say, on the Thursday, not use the return leg and come back Tuesday using the return leg of the second set?

PS - who or what is a go go hamster??

It's this years hot XMAS toy apparently.

The one you must get in order to be a good parent and to ensure you're little monsters are content and behave. The alternative being tantrums, counseling sessions in later life and the label of 'bad parent'!

I do recall hankering after Metroplex (Autobat Transformer) :-D, although i'd simply have got a slap had I complained when I got something else

Great find

I love day trips to France - I am about 1.5 hours from Tunnel.

A wonderful restaurant is leCygne in Saint Omer, run by an equally charming lady Stephanie.

NO.

From T&C's at bottom of page.

' Promotion valid for a day trip only. Not valid for travel before 06:00. Return travel must be completed before midnight (local time) the same calendar day'.
#25
They check the car registration numbers so its not possible to do this.
