the genuine ones wil be about £40

you might be better of with kodak printers, ink is less than half the price.
#7
Genuine Epson ones are about £7 each, generic ones can be had for £1.50 each or less when bought in multipacks.
#8
good price, bought this when it was just under £50, v happy!
#9
bought this in october for £70.
inks cost 65p each, bought 40
#10
Got this last week but it refuses to connect wirelessly, Epson helpline no help at all so having to use it as a normal USB printer. A bit noisy to start but dies down, very fast printer and inks are much cheaper than my old Cannon so overall happy with it despite the wireless problem.
#11
heat added. its come down £7 since yesterday. ordered. cheap ink link in one of the other threads. 65p a cartridge! at buytech i think. just off to look now
#12
Anyone know of a decent Epson printer that just prints, no lcd screens or scanners? With cheap ink of course X) I've had an Epson R200 for about 7(!?) years and its on its last legs...
banned#13
well you won't get much cheaper than this, just buy this one and don't use the stuff you don't need!
#14
Hi,
Bought this last week. Easily connects to Wi-Fi ( networked beteween 3 PC's and a Mac). It scans remotely as well. Good print qulity. As fast as a laser printer
#15
is the usb printer cable included?

as i previously brought a HP "WIFI" printer from argos returned it due to it not having a USb cable to connect the laptop and printer to configure it together before you can start printing wirelessly .
#16
Excellant work Op, nearly got this for £59 recently and thought that was cheap. Just ordered one.

Is the HP Officejet 6500A at £160 worth paying the extra for over this? I need a decent home-office all-in-one.
#23
Bought one of these from Argos and the USB cable was in the box.

well you won't get much cheaper than this, just buy this one and don't use the stuff you don't need!
But it looks absolutely gigantic and heavy and has loads of things that could go wrong with it....
#27
Ordered and used my £2.50 Flamedeer voucher. Went via Nectar too for triple points.

Gutted when it was £48 last week and I missed it.

I would seriously consider the epson home-office machines if i was you. like the bx305fw (fax+wifi but rear loading paper), or bx525wd ( wifi + duplexer with front loading tray ) or the fastest inkjet ever, the bx625fwd ( fax+wifi+duplexer ). All of them in my opinion r better than the hp.

However, this is the best value for money printer available imo. HOT

p.s SX515FW does come with a usb cable inside beilieve it or not, because you need it for the first time to set it up.

No it cant.

My epson R265 printer's fried but I still have the insert tray for printing CD/DVDs. Send me your address to [email protected] and I'll post it for free. I don't mind spending a few pence to send rather than somebody spend pounds on a new printer. Happy xmas!

our family have an apartment in spain. i plan to keep this printer at the apartment for use from time to time. will the inks dry out between the times that we use it? (bearing in mind the warm dry climate). or would we be better off with a colour laser?

Cheapest one that can do that is the Epson P50 £79.99 from Box.co.uk
