Love the thread title! Really looking forward to this event! Managed to Book of Work for the Friday too so I could attend! :)

Then some dappy idiot had to go and add "Kids" as a tag as a protest - pretty stupid when tags are supposed to help people - and you read the site saying "Over 18's only". So well done (_;)

Anyone been? What's it like?
Isn't this a bit irresponsible? Even 15 mintues of training in the ways of the force without full understanding of the power. In the hands of our young children, who are yet to decide on there place in life. Could be causing us trouble in the future. What if they all turn to the darkside?? Just saying.
Good spot. As you say - terrible design of website. But managed to find a spot.

so the title price isnt £10.00 its £11.49 with admin fee). sadly i give it cold for the headline price not being correct.
Harsh! hardly anywhere on the internet is an admin fee counted in the price
but he mentioned it in the description, but not on the price he quoted. as the op was aware of it, he should post it.
ok this is incredibly annoying me!
So? thats standard online like I said hardly anywhere includes admin fees in the price because they aren't part of the price.
The spirit of the heat system on this site is if you think its a good deal you give heat if you don't then give cold not give cold because you don't agree with the format of a title! which you admitted was the reason you gave the cold rating.
That not only goes against the spirit of this site but is enormously petty! "Well never mind about the deal you didn't format it to my standard so the heat for your deal is getting rated down"....seriously are you 3 years old? heat ratings are to demonstrate to others how good or bad a deal on this site is according to its users not to be use as a petty punishment because you don't like the formatting of a tile.
these post are editable if it really bothered you that much you could have just commented that you thought that the admin fee should have been in the title (which it now is).Like you also said it was in the description so he/she DID post it and it WAS mentioned so don't really get what your problem was other than not being able to understand what the heat system on this site is for.
Chill, im entitled to my opinion as are you.
It's not your opinion I object to it's you childish abuse of the site rules
i dont believe i abused the site rules, the op knew about an additional cost, but chose not to put that in the headline. simples.
Whether you believe it not not is irrelevant you did and you're on comments prove you did.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "simples" because you seem to be talking a language I don't speak ( i.e moron)
Yes the poster knew about the admin fee that's why they included it in the description and yes they didn't include it in the title so? why is that reason to mislead people about the deal? short answer is it's not you were being a childish idiot and abusing the heat system on here. end of
Unless the op changed the description, the mods also agreed.

not enough details on the show even for a tenner. As it would cost me £70 in travel which for a decent gaming event I would invest as we dont get enough in this country. Going VGX later this year.

Oh thanks my daughter will love this! Just had a look and they are running a competition for two free tickets on FB, it doesn't say when it closes but will enter so my daughter can maybe take some friends! Thanks op :)
Just gave them a phone. Food service starts at midday, so I booked a table.....if you want the Xmas Menu it's best to let them know soon, I was told :)
Dumb question time, but as I'll be accompanying my niece, should I have ticked the "book a table" option? I didn't and wonder if I should regret that!!
Don't forget Santa is also visiting the frozen party!
I have booked through wowcher a record a frozen song at a Glasgow recording studio in merchant city- if you could tie those two together that would make a fab bday party x

£0 ticket/ fee is finished,

Hot because I'm local and it seems such a great thing! +1
Personally I think "it's a Wonderful Life" is the best film ever made - and I don't just mean Christmas film! It's my all time favourite film which I have in DVD in black and white and in colour and have been lucky enough to see in the cinema as well and would highly recommend it. My family watch it every year with my husband and my children who are now aged 17, 18 and 21 have grown up watching it and enjoyed it too - even in black and white.

I loved seeing it at the cinema - we managed to see it there one Christmas eve which made a lovely start to our Christmas :)

Although I live in Devon I am voting this hot as I think it is a fantastic offed and were it close I would jump at the chance to go to see it, I have posted the link below and the synopsis from IMDb for anyone not familiar with the film.

"George Bailey is a small-town man whose life seems so desperate he contemplates suicide. He had always wanted to leave Bedford Falls to see the world, but circumstances and his own good heart have led him to stay. He sacrificed his education for his brother's, kept the family-run savings and loan afloat, protected the town from the avarice of the greedy banker Mr. Potter, and married his childhood sweetheart. As he prepares to jump from a bridge, his guardian angel intercedes; showing him what life would have become for the residents of Bedford Falls is he had never lived."
