Got one from Homebase. There's no real control of the dosage rate if using with evergreen complete. Caused me to burn my lawn.

Can the spreader be used for spreading sand for killing moss ?

Be aware that bizarrely it is only 'compatible' with EverGreen products.
You can't set the distribution by g/sqm as per all other manufacturer's instructions. There's just leaflet that tells you to use setting 1 for EverGreen product X, and setting 2 for EverGreen product Y, etc.

I made a best guess for using a much better value fertiliser and it burnt the hell out of my lawn.

So you may get a cheap spreader but you'll have to either pay through the nose for your feed/seed!

Just checked Newcastle Cowgate and West Denton stores, no stock.
Good deal for anyone who finds on though.
