I've been looking for a boxing bag for a while now, and this looks like a good quality punch bag by everlast.
I might pick this one up myself to practice my triple jabs, and left hooks on.

3ft filled PVC punch bag.

Size (H)92, (W)30, (D)30.

The 'one you posted' doesn't point to anything other than Argos' main website!

The actual link is: http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500002201&langId=-1&searchTerms=EVERLAST+3FT+PUNCH+BAG

The only advice I'd give you is think about the weight. Once filled with sand the 4' bag will be heavier than the 3' bag so you need to consider 'where' you are going to hang it. In other words, will your garage or wherever else you're thinking of hanging it, take the weight?

Nice. Well I suppose it comes down to money then (and length). Personally for the money I think your original post is a canny buy.

I'm not sure I'd trust that bracket to hold 80kg! That's 12 and a half stone!!!!!! I suggest he needs a stand as you have DEAL.

By the way, did you have any thoughts on that PM I sent you? I've no experience of these bags but I thought that Leather one looked canny for the size and being leather. I'm just looking for some advice mate.

Thanks Deal - i've got a boxing stand at the minute (not used my bag for the last year though!) and is taking too much room up! wanted something a little closer to the wall! That one doesn't look like it'll hold my bag given the reviews.

Also need to find a local boxing club - you know of any good sites that help find them? uncle google not been as helpful as normal!

Or I may just admit that I'm never going to use it and try and sell it off - the bag is huge though - at least 80kg and 5 foot - and the stand is a monster - sturdy - but takes up a lot of space!

Why not use your stand outside in the backyard or garden if its taking up too much room? i know the british weather is awful but u could get a car cover and put it over your stand when it rains like i do?
