want to know if it is good for playing pc games

Verbatim from other deal.

In a word, 'No'.

You'll be much better off going for this:

http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Home/Product/32407/XpertVision-GeForce-8800GS-384MB-DDR3--PCI-E-?source=AffiliateFuture

It's an 8800GS which performs about the same as a 9600GT.

One Terabyte of Graphics Memory?

Albeit I'm old enough to remember 512kbyte video cards, suspect my BBC Micro was alot less, but we're still a while away yet from 1tb graphics cards.

This is a card designed by the marketing department:
Take a modestly performing card and add four times as much memory as it really needs but make it DDR2 which will make it slower than a card with 256MB GDDR3.
Microdirect have a 512MB version for £46.32 plus shipping - http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Home/Product/39079/XFX-GeForce-9500GT-550Mhz-512MB-DDR2-PCI-E--DVI

Worst deal I've seen for ages on a VGA card. Freezing.

Novatech have an XFX 8800GT 512MB “Alpha Dog” for £73.60 plus shipping which will destroy this card - http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?XFX-88GTA

650MHz Core, 1500Mhz Shader, 512MB 1800MHz GDDR3 Memory, 112 Stream Processors

versus

550MHz Core, 1400MHz Shader, 1GB 1,000MHz DDR2 Memory, 32 Stream Processors

Almost 4 times the number of processors, RAM that is 1.8x faster purely on clock speed let alone actual bandwidth and a core that is 100MHz faster.
