First deal, hopefully it's a good one for some of you. Here we have a EVGA GTX 1070 FTW edition card for about £350-£360 from Amazon France, depending on how you pay - I did it with revolut to get it at this price.

Currently none in stock, but they are open to people ordering at that price and then delivering as soon as they come in.

I was waiting for a 1070 deal to come along for Black Friday, and like most was very disappointed. This is one hell of a price and is actually the cheapest 1070 they currently have listed, even tho it is arguably the best.

The 3 camels also say it is the cheapest it has ever been. I imagine they will stop taking orders up to a certain point, but get this one while you can!

Edit!!! You also seem to get a copy of Watch Dogs 2 if you purchase! And payment is only taken upon dispatch! I have checked other Amazon Europe sites, but this seems to be the best deal by an absolute mile - but please do comment if there's a better price guys!

I went ahead and ordered it. Should be a decent upgrade from my 290x which I can sell on to make some money back.

It is an upgrade, but don't doubt that 290x one bit, its still a beast of a card and on par if not better in some titles than the 1060/480

I certainly don't doubt the 290x, it's been a beast of a card for me. But I want to upgrade my main monitor to 1440p 144hz next, and the 1070 should work better.

Be prepared to pull your card a part and have to fit the DIY thermal fix on this card, or worst still have to return it back to France if it throttles and you're not happy with it. Unless you're allowed to return it to the UK Amazon..

EVGA warranties are second to none, so you wouldn't need to mess about with all that nonsense. They would send you out a replacement and send a courier to pick up the faulty card after you've received the replacement so that you never have to go without! They're a little more expensive than the other brands, but they've always been awesome for me

I appreciate that EVGA do a good warranty service, but would they accept a UK RMA for an item purchased in another EU country?

Presumably yes but it would be good to know if someone has had experience of this.
