I used flubit and got the Palit game rock 1070 for £365 tried it on about 15 other variants and only getting 1%-2% off....these prices wont change until AMD bring out their new one

good deal but all the evga 1070s with acx 3.0 coolers have the thermal issue and need the vbios and thermal pads installing

+heat for price but wouldnt risk it in my system

No risk at all, either send away for the free thermal pad kit from evga and fit them yourself, or if you don't feel confident you can RMA it to vega who will then replace with a card with the pads applied.

If you mess up the installation of the pads yourself, you can also rma the card.

In summary - evga is doing the right thing, no risk at all.

god yeh i agree evga are showing amazing customer service, fantastic response to the situation but still in my opinion for the amount of money id still want something that doesnt have a problem such as that
