That's what I thought but it goes to the £5 more expensive page for me.
And this shouldn't be cold because it is the cheapest price you can get this for.

whats this like compared to an ATI5770 1gb ???

It will be like switching from a dual-core to a quadcore. This is so much faster it is crazy... but you should really go for the 1gb gtx 460 or if you already have a 5770, you should crossfire another one.

Mate, stick with the gtx 460 and use your 8600gt as a physx card and your machine will be BEAST!

A good techie.. yet you couldnt figure out how to use Scan's website???
All you need to do is press buy on the today only deals page rather than the item page itself... this will only get colder... so it should be cold its a fiver more expensive than two clicks away.

The GTX 460 is a superior card to a 5770, but they are not at the same price point.

The HD 5830 is around the same price as a GTX 460 768MB - a little cheaper in fact - and is more of an equal contender.

.... you can get 5770 for about £110 and you can get this and other gtx 460 for around £120.... so they are around the same price point.

5770s have come down to £99.99 now, while the 5830s are £110-£130. I'd say the 5830 is closer to the price point than the 5770.

im voting hot, this is good deal. i payed more for mine but i was on release day the the superclocked EVGA version but still, this is a good price.
And i would go for this over the 5770, have a look on the benchmarks.
And another reason, it's nvidia, nuff said really ;)

A gtx 460 outclasses the 5830 and the 6850. It is just about the same as the 5850 and 6870, to be honest.
