Do these not have the thermal issues

Do these not have the thermal issues
I've read that all cards directly from EVGA from the 1st of this month should have the Thermal pads attached and vBIOS change from factory... however it in my opinion is to much of a gamble. :(

Hi

I'm needing a card for vr.. I won't over clock so what would be best? Sc to ftw seems a very small upgrade.. was looking at the Gainward Phoenix Gs at 1835mhz but there was a normal gainward on eBay so was hoping to get that with 20% off tomorrow.

No the Founders edition cards were the ones at fault

It was any EVGA GTX 10x0 series with the ACX 3.0 cooler afaik, which means everything except the founder's edition.

Incorrect, the founders had no faults. The custom Evga had faults

I'm really interested and was going to vote hot, but the £11.50 Standard Delivery costs suck!
That price in today's market - that's taking the Mickey.
Should include that cost in the deal.

Yep saw it earlier and, as much as I want a 1070, thought "if it looks too good to be true..."

Go for this SC. I've been trawling for weeks and considered the Gainward and the Palit Gamerock which gets really great reviews.... but their warranty 2 year RTB sucks.

EVGA have 3 year direct.

Bottom line is that the real world differences in these cards is minimal unless you're into serious over-clocking - so go for quality rather than the headlines ;)
