  Yeah really good deal but it spoils the movie as it makes it too obvious that the blue or green screen is there. So hot for the price but buy it one dvd a least

  Aside from that being an extremely poorly written review, I'm not quite sure what they expected. The effects looked simple and cheap right from the get go - of course they're going to look worse in hi-def. But the ropey effects are part of the appeal.

  This is a notoriously poor DNR ridden BD, its had a proper re-master but it's only available.in US as region A locked release.

  Very true. I resisted posting this earlier in the week due to those exact reasons.
  It has never (understandably) been a nice clean print, but i'm not buying this version when there is better out there.

  great film, been one of my favourites since it came out but the blu ray transfer turns the brightness up to the max. totally spoils the look and feel of it IMO...
