These are brilliant I got one for my son last year and is well used, Its really good for your core muscles as trying to balance on the board is quite difficult to start with, great price well worth it.
They sold this kind of thing in ASDA last christmas and had to reduce them because hardly any were getting sold, Not seen them this year thought LOL.
all you need is a skateboard deck screw 2 blocks of wood to the base and balance on a cylindrical object and hey presto youve saved yourself 40 quid
