Good price BUT this saw needs a serious health warning on it - frankly i don;t think it's safe...

I bought one and used it for a lot of flooring. I probably gave it a years worth of use in a month so know the pro's and con's...

Pro's

Clean cuts, does what it says on the tin, doesn't leave splintered edges, doesn't rip, can cut floor in situ without need to keep walking planks over to a work bench... cuts to 12mm in theory (see below). All sounds great BUT...

Con's

The blade occasionally catches in a groove and the saw bounces up and whilst the guard is supposed to retract it takes a few milliseconds, just enough time to seriously cut into your hand holding the piece of wood or a finger...

Do not under any circumstances try to do a plunge cut with it - I nearly took my thumb off as the blade guard doesn't retract as quickly as the saw bounces up and luckily for me it only cut the tip of my thumb (albeit very badly)

The depth guide is supposed to be 12mm but it is only 11.5mm - my flooring was 12mm thick so this was a real pain.

Whilst cutting the depth guide adjusts itself so it reduces from 12mm to 6mm over the length of a cut - this means you have to keep one hand on the depth guide

All in all it served a purpose but had many faults. I think that's why none of the big companies (Makita, De Walt etc) bought this design as it's not safe and they're worried about law suits. If you do buy it then be very careful with it...
