Excite Truck takes another price reduction at GameStation:

Just picked this up at £19.99.

Previous post at £24.99.

Asked the guy behind the counter why is was so cheap compared to their other £39.99 offerings and he shrugged his shoulders but assured me this was nationwide.

Still shows at £24.99 online.

I noticed that Game had a few deals on Wii Games this week too. Saw super monkey in there for £20 which is a good price especially for instore. Im thinking of trading in my Rayman for it!

Is it really as good as people are making out? It's pay day tomorrow and my pocket's got that burning sensation.

Thing is, I don't really care for motor/racing games but this seems a little different to everything else.

It's meant to be short but sweet. I dare say you'll still get a good trade in when you've finished with it anyway.

I thought exactly the same. I can't be bothered with breaking before corners and tweaking my suspension.

This is arcade to the max. Simply bouncing around at silly speeds, somtimes with a slight feeling of lack of control, loads of fun it is, but driving it aint...

I've had this game for a couple of weeks - it is a cracking game!!. Maybe not for the driving sumulation purists, but if you want to belt around a track at ridculous speeds and smash stuff up - then this is the game for you.!

Which store was this in Andy? The fact it's still £24.99 online makes me think maybe you just got lucky. I've got a game to trade in so I might go and check it out at lunch time - fingers crossed :)

great game

a MUST own if you have a Wii

wouldnt say its short though, will take a while to unlock everything, never mind that its awesome fun.

Still £24.99 in my store... I asked and they said the £19.99 offer ended. I still went for it at £24.99 though - they gave me £18 trade-in for Nintendogs (More than I paid for it new!)

Hi,
This was in the Cheltenham store (inside Blockbusters). The guy did say it was nationwide but he seemed to be a bit of a "Jonny no-stars" kind of assistant though...

£24.99 at Bracknell, and yes they knew of the previous offer. Still bought it though. Laugh to see the 24 Wiis stacked behind the counter for sale. Tried to bargain with them to get
PS3, extra controller, 2 games + xmen III Bluray for £480. They said they werent allowed to negotiate. Boo.

Bought the game for £24.99 though and my 3 year olds been playing it non-stop since! Doesnt work well with the wheel though - better with the controller on its own...

just been to my local gamestation and its 24.99 too
