God damn it, these deals never seem to go to Manila, Philippines.

Anyone seen an offer lately by any chance? Around the £400 mark, cheaper even?

Thanks I love you. <3

I've seen similar offers to this from Qatar before, but you can never choose the city from the drop down menu. Did you get this link from an email? Can you let us know how you book flights at this price? Many thanks.

Oh, I don't mind changing.
#9
Travel to India is during Monsoon season so thats probably why it's cheap?
#10
Flights to BKK seem pretty expensive overall in summer, I'm kind of hoping they will go down because of the political situation.

Fly to HKG and then fly Cebu Pacific for <£100 on top so you can do it <£400 overall

If you want PAL you can get Eco Lite fligths for around £100 return but you need to book in advance where Cebu Pacific you can normlly just book a few days before.

BTW to get these prices you need to use the email link as its for Qmiles members only.

cant select cities on form ... expired deal ?
#14
Tried link in IE and Firefox but can't select any city in the drop down menu.

Without wishing to be alarmist, I'd suggest anyone planning to visit Dubai may want to read this first. It'll quickly become apparent why it's so cheap at the moment...

And before anyone cries heretic: I used to live in Dubai, and what's written in the above article is painfully true.
#16
just been to Dubai and I concur with the above.. very over rated place.

thank you for the very interesting read.

You're more than welcome.

It's heart-breaking to read - I used to love the place when I first went there - but it's just a sad fact that Dubai is one huge, glittering façade for something much less appealing.

Im not getting into an online war here as frankly there is no point in doing so but you need to wake up and smell the coffee ... us brits are great at noseying into other peoples problems but dont sort out our own. There are many points to that article and also the documentary on panarama but take pay for example. The fact that the workers there get paid x amount which converted in £'s seems poor is not relevant. With our expenses here in the UK, people on minimum wage are in the same hardship as those laborours. Wheres the justice here ?

And talking about "propping up an abhorrent culture" ... youve lived there so fed the problem a lot more than if I visit dubai for a week on holiday so dont even go there ...

I want to go on further but I wont. There's absolutely no point and id be wasting my time.

You clearly didn't read that article.

Past tense; it was in the 1980s, as a lot of what now seems to have happened was just getting started.

But I wouldn't have agreed with mass exploitation and thinly-veiled slavery then either--and didn't.

Ive been dubai 5 times in the last 5 times - im going there again in MAY offer or no Offer!!!
Beutiful weather, friendly people, safe on the streets at night, Cheap food and shopping,
Uk priced drinks as its a muslim country- but where else you gonna get a river cruise for £7 per person or £10 with food at night with belly dancing too.
Safari Desert Tour for £30 ish with food music and entertainement. thrown in,
Awe at the sights of Jumeriah, Burj Al Arab (think its spelt right), Clean streets.

Guys if you never been before its worth going they like the English people, Even foriegners they are a United Nation Country - seriously good offer

Agreed with rborhara.

And, we work our as$es off in the UK with our jobs ... we deserve is a decent, affordable, memorable holiday. It's not too much to ask for.
There is corruption and injustice everywhere you go ... life must go on though.

what do you exactly mean by this comment? I'm not English but I am a brown skinned british born person. will they like me just as much? or do they only like you if you have blonde hair or blue eyes? also who are you implying about when you say "they like the english" i'm sure it's not the local Emirities as they only make up 78% of the population in Dubai. the majority are indians/pakistani's/sri lankans/bangladeshi's/philippino's and the odd russian hooker. you won't get a arab/emiritie working in the service or hospitality industry. they are too proud, arrogant and lazy (believe me i know). They don't get out of bed before 11:00 am and their youth (mainly the guys) are spoilt brats. You only have to go to edgware road/Kensington and Knightsbridge in London to see these ppl wheel spinning around in their imported Lambo's and ferrari's (still with their dubai plates on). If you like their hospitality you might aswell visit India/Pakistan etc... and I'm sure it's not JUST the English they like but ANYONE with money.
#28
Also some ppl bang on about how cheap dubai is. Ok you can get there for £207 but have you seen how much hotels are? you can't get a decent hotel for less than £120 per night. you could find something cheaper but then you might aswell stay in a shed. the prices of hotel accomodation in DXB are not proportionate to the quality and comfort. Anyone agree or am i on my own here?

From a neutral perspective - not mentioning colour of skin or anything i think you've read too much into this. Its a good deal period! Tourist generally are loved the world over and especially for the colour of their notes - fact. I've never been to Dubai so would love to visit due to all the hype not even giving thought of local traits (could apply to any other nation for a matter of fact) - i mean who cares really and this is definately not the place to get onto a soap box and become politically opinionated!

Mate im asian too , Your reading to much into this - But generally saying there are not racist over there - whahtever nation you are they will love u there. Go enjoy yourself
#31
can we all leave the comments about the middle east. This offer also listed Hong Kong, Thailand etc...

This generally is a good offer and sadly its not for my dates but it looks like if you book late you get a good deal for Asia... :D

PS i am from the UK (Yorkshire) and not asian but would move to Asia if someone gave me a well paid job :D
